What if i plug this device into a mitel 5330e desk phone? as a headset adapter? would it work for that?

(1) Does your headset have a USB plug on the end of its cable? (2) Does your desk phone have a RJ45 Jack for its audio output? If you answer yes to both of these questions then yes it will. I am not familiar with the model phone that you refer to so you have to answer the above questions. however based on what I do know about telephone systems I seriously doubt that the answer is yes to either of the two questions! Is this a joke???

Hello, if I plug this device into the back of my xfinity modem will it power a fan with a usb plug ?

Don't know. Probably won't do the modem any good since that port isn't made for that purpose. All I can say is try it and see. If it doesn't work send them back.

Would this work on a switch oled dock? i know that nintendo wanted to help but it doesnt help my current setup where i utalize all usb ports.

I cannot tell you if this would work or not, however, when we add more and more items to the computer through the USB ports we draw more current than the computer has to give. The solution is to purchase and externally powered hub. They plug into one of the USB ports on your computer and also are plugged into a wall outlet. This provides the required current for the accessory and the signals flow through the USB port just fine.
