The ElekTek Safety Switch Lamp Bulb Holder is a UK-made, solid brass B22 bayonet cap holder featuring a patented push-bar safety switch that only activates when a bulb is installed. Designed for indoor lighting circuits, it supports incandescent, LED, and halogen bulbs, offers a choice of 10mm or 1/2" threaded entry, and meets BS 7895:1997 safety standards with a T2 temperature rating of 220°C.

Brilliant lamp switch top brass
Top quality Brass light fitting fitted perfectly all wired up and working as intended the original lamp switch was 22 years old and it would not push to turn the light on and off as it was sticking and was becoming rather bothersome, so looked on line and found this new light fitting so will have to buy another as I have two brass lamps and it the other brass lamp fitting needs changing too. This new brass fitting is a solid piece of brass it is weighty and when you look at it is a work of art really heavy solid construction with new safety features 10 Stars. Well worth the asking price just hope it lasts as long only time will tell I will update accordingly.

Good quality
Good quality, fitted easily, switch was smooth to switch on and off. Liked the safety aspect, can't switch on without a bulb fitted.

It has a 10mm female thread at the bottom, safety feature that stops the power if no bulb fitted and screw terminals. Exact replacement match for a failed switch on a large table lamp. Easy to fit and works.
