SHORDY Large Menstrual Cups for Postpartum Women Over 30 Heavy Flow

I had a beach trip coming up, got this bad boy at the last minute and it did not disappoint. I was skeptical of wearing it to the beach but this was my first menstrual cup. It was uncomfortable at first but wearing it for a while, my body got used to it and I almost forgot my cycle was on. All I know it’s definitely saved me money from tampons and pads. I still have my entire box of tampons. Needless to say, I love it.

I’ve been using menstrual cups for over 10 years and have tried many different brands at various price points. Unfortunately, none of them fully prevented leaks, and I had almost given up hope of finding a truly leak-proof cup. When I came across the Shordy cup, I noticed the low price and figured that since all the others leaked anyway, there was no reason to overspend. To my surprise, this is the very first cup that has completely prevented leaks for me! The material is less flexible than other cups I’ve used, but I think that actually helps create a stronger seal, which makes it better at preventing leaks. I’m not sure how it would feel for first-time users, but for anyone who has tried cup after cup without success, I highly recommend giving this one a try. I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this brand—so much so that I felt compelled to write this review.

For someone with a heavy flow, this cup is lifesaving! Easy to use and clean. I like that it has a case as well. If you want more freedom while on your period, I highly recommend purchasing

I've been using the regular size June cups for years but have been experiencing heavier periods for the past few months. I figured a cup with larger capacity would be the way to go and I was right! Pros - Don't have to empty the cup nearly as much. On my heavier days and with a good seal, I'm emptying every 8-9 hours instead of 3-4 with a smaller cup. - Not super unwieldy even though it is noticeably larger than what I'm used to. - That seal is a SEAL. It's not budging. - It's great for people with heavier periods. Cons - The cup is firmer than the June cup (but not *inflexible*) - I'm used to popping the June cup in an out, but this cup takes a lil bit to adjust/remove Overall, I'm happy with this one and do like its firmness and the available colors (they don't stain like the clear cups do!)

Their customer service is great and they offered me a full refund, because the cup just didn't work for me, personally. Too big compared to other brands of bigger sizes. Material is a bit too stiff and too thick that makes it painful to remove, and i had leks. I guess u have to simply try different brands to see. what works.

Okay so I've always wanted to try these but I was really scared of a scene looking like a Saw movie, just blood everywhere or that it be really uncomfortable lol. I prepped with YouTube videos I strongly recommend but if you don't here are the tips I found to be useful DO NOT PUll THAT STEM IT WILL MAKE A MESS BECAUSE OF SUCTION INSTEAD GO ABOVE THE STEM GRAB HOLD AND SLOW SHIMMY IT OUT. TRY TO KEEP IT STRAIGHT SO CONTENTS STAY IN CUP UNTIL YOU DUMP IT. REMOVE IT BEFORE YOU POOP SO IT DOESN'T COME OUT, MAKE SURE THE CUP IS FULLY OPEN IN THERE OR IT WILL LEAK. I don't know if I'll go back to tampons it's so comfortable, coughing hard doesn't push it out, no irritation from the tampon material or string. But I think the best thing is not worrying about leaks while I slept last night I could stay in bed without the every 2 hour wake up hoping I make it until the dam fully breaks. And the money and panties I'll save lol awesome for so the price. Tampons are so expensive especially when you sometimes get 2 periods a month. Yes I've gotten blood on my finger but barely and that happens sometimes with a tampon. We're grown lol wash your hands and go on your day.

First time trying a period cup and I love it! It’s so much better than using tampons in my opinion. It’s easy to use and definitely saves money. I will say it may be awkward trying to use in a public setting because you have to rinse it at least before putting back in, so it’d probably be a good idea to have a spare one with you if needed.

Finally!! A menstrual cup that works for me, I’ve tried 3 different ones and the menstrual disc, I was always leaking with those one from day 1, tried in different cycles and nothing, I was hopeless but I’ve decided to give a chance to another one, I’m happy I did, I’ve only used it for one cycle but I’m happy with this one! It stays in the place, it’s harder than other ones but I think I don’t need such a flexible cup because I ended up leaking with those. I’ve had two babies and my periods are on the heavier side, this works great.

I’ve tried several cups (diva, pixie, Athena, etc) and this is my favorite one. No leaks, simple to insert and very comfortable. Love the traveling case it comes with too!

I was on the look out for a cup when my period restarted postpartum. I used to be a diva cup girl, but it didn't fit the same and wasn't as confortable anymore. Comes in this cup, that is so comfy and I can't even believe it. It stays in place much better, more comfortable with the nob at the very end, the material is soft... oh and it's a 1/4 of the price for a diva cup. I am so pleased with this item!
