Get the light attachment. Works like a charm.

This magnifier is great for close work, whether it be for a hobby or for just trying to change the pins on your watch band. I have one on the house and one in the shop. Very useful tool.

The optivisor will be used for my personal needs and I am pleased with the product. A friend had let me try his various magnifiers and I was able to choose the right magnification for me.

Good lighting and magnification

I've had mine for a few years and it's a great light when it works. Unfortunately, the switch on mine is extraordinarily low quality and not reliable. I typically have to tap the case and wiggle the switch every time I use it to get the lights to come on fully. Given the cost I expected this simple component to be better made. So, 3 stars for how good it is when the lights are working, but 2 off because they got cheap on a critical part.
