Don't buy this hoover it came with a usa plug so I got a plug converter all great, started it up it was very loud and I saw orange sparks then smoke shotting out I've only had this hoover 2 days and this happened the 1st time I used it.

This is a lovely lightweight vacuum, BUT it comes with a USA style two pin plug, so you can buy a converter to change it to a three pin, but I didn't think the power would be same as the UK, so I returned it

Plugged it in and instead of sucking was blowing everywhere then sparks started coming out of the plastic bit at the bottom. Freaked me out. Nearly started a fire. I notice another person had the same experience! Also comes with a American plug so you need an adapter in the UK. I'd avoid this like the plague.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE IN THE UK!! The US plug should of told me but I bought a converter plug first time using it, very loud then lots of smoke and flames

After no more than 3 minutes of use, the hoover started sparking and smoking. I’m hoping the seller contacts me regarding a refund as I am currently unable to find a way to contact them.

Please do not buy, I bought this, it was not a uk plug, so I purchased a world plug to use with this product, started to hoover it quickly smelt of burning, I heard the plug socket make a noise, next minute there was a pop sound,flames then smoke, I had to run downstairs turn all my electrics off, my children had to open their bedroom windows and we all had to come down stairs, due to the smoke and smell that also set my fire alarm off. I called amazon about this, all they have done is make a refund, its disgusting. Please do not buy this situation could have been worse, its scared and traumatised my children.

I got this vac and it set on fire in my house where my kids were lucky we got the vacuum cleaner out And we all safe

My vacuum arrived with no attachments....I asked them to please send my attachments. They told me that I would have to reorder. In the mean time the price had gone up $10.00 dollars! They said that they would refund me. It was their fault! I feel that I should be able to get the attachments no problem. The vacuum works great. I ordered two. My boy friends came as it should. I feel they should just send me the parts! Their workers should pay attention to what they are doing. Too much of this is going on these days!

My ex ran over my nice vacuum recently, so I just needed something to get me by, and this was a good price per good reviews. Pros: it definitely sucks. I can feel it gripping the carpet pretty firmly on the pull-back. The canister is nice and big and easy to remove, empty and clean. I don't notice any brush kickback when I go over hard surfaces, nor any dust escaping from the canister seal. Lightweight. Cons: very very noisy. I can probably wake up the whole neighborhood with this baby. No height adjustments. The foot pedal to unlock the hinge is annoyingly close to the power button. The cord seems short, constantly having to unplug and replug into different outlets, even for a single room. Lightweight, which I know is also a pro, but when I'm using the hose feature the vacuum falls over.

I just got this vacuum because my old cordless one seemed like it was barely doing anything. I wanted something affordable and I think it's a pretty good vacuum for the price. I just vacuumed the living room with my old one, and then tested out the new one right away. I got a ton of dust and dirt just from a simgle pass. My carpet was looking so dingy and now it looks much better. So it works super good! The only downside so far is how much louder it is. The old one is so quiet I can vacuum in the middle of the night without disturbing the neighbors but this Eureka is so loud I won't be able to do that. Also it is pretty light for a standard vacuum but it's hard to push through the carpet since there's no power roller or swivel. For a cheap vacuum it's powerful and cleans the carpet pretty good. But if I had a little extra money I'd buy something like a shark navigator.
