Works! Great Price
Normally these are not worth the money to me, it’s a dummy plug. That said, it’s a super simple way to tell your headless server, or say Mac Mini, to use a static resolution- no need to find a finicky software or compromise your computers security. They are built solid, fit correctly but not too snuggled, have a low profile with enough space to still easily grab and remove, and being hdmi works with any hdmi compatible computer.

Using this to keep my computer from trying to run at 4k along with an HDMI splitter. Works as described.

Works perfectly
Worked perfectly. Took less than 1 minutes to install and set it up for my requirements. I can now remotely connect to my laptop from my dual monitor desktop and actually use both monitors! Since I had switched to Windows 10 it would no longer recognize a virtual monitor. Using the second one on a crypto mining rig that I don't want to have connected to a monitor all the time. The mining crashes if it doesn't have a monitor connected to the primary GPU. Problem solved!

I wish I had one of these earlier
Works great on my headless ubuntu box. This is much better than fiddling with the xorg config. I like how I can set the display resolution through VNC to match my laptop without fiddling with any config files. Highly recommend for anyone with a headless GUI server.

Works great for headless Macs
It's a HDMI plug with a 1080p EDID profile in it. Works perfectly to enable graphics acceleration on remotely viewed macOS machines. Also enables the headless booting of Gigabyte BRIX computers that require a display to start (I'm looking at you, Gigabyte Intel Celeron J1900 Mini PC Barebone Components GB-BXBT-1900 ).

Causes my computer to feeeze.
I am able to get TeamViewer up and running with this dummy plug, which was the sole purpose of me getting this dummy plug. As soon as I start doing anything with my computer, my computer freezes and I lose connection with TeamViewer and it forces a restart. The whole point of this dummy plug is to allow me to use my computer with no monitor. I cannot give this product a higher rating because it fails to perform the sole purpose it was created for.

Only got one of the two HDMI emulator plugs in my shipment/package. Otherwise, the one that I have is indeed working as it should.

リモートデスクトップの必需品
ノートパソコンのホスト機のHDMI端子にこのダミープラグを差して使っています。ホスト機にChrome Remote Desktopなどでリモート接続して使うときに、画面サイズが元に戻らなくなったとか、表示が乱れて操作できなくなったとか、いろいろトラブルがあって困っていましたが、これで解決できました。
