The only downside to this is that you must take a hand off the bars to raise/lower it so it is best on trails that I have memorized as I can lower where it isn't too rough ahead of the section I want it down for. The first one was pretty difficult to get it to drop, even with all my weight on it (180lbs.), so I sent it back and got another one, which was definitely easier, but sometimes I still have to pogo stick up and down a little bit to get it to drop, even after putting some stanchion lube on it. I read a lot of reports of the cheaper dropper post failing/breaking, but after some pretty extensive testing, this one's been pretty solid. For the price point, I definitely recommend it.
