Isapgol husk is a bulk forming laxative, which means it absorbs water and swells up, causing enlargement and softening of stool. It also stimulates the gastrointestinal tract to pass the stool. The softening of the stool and stimulation of passage of the stool helps in relieving constipation. It is a gentle laxative as compared to other chemical agents. How to use Naturolax One heaped teaspoon (approx. 5.6g) or one sachet 1 to 3 times a day. Continuous use for 2-3 days may be required for optimal effect. It should be mixed thoroughly in a glass of water and consumed. Drinking an additional glass of water is desirable.
