Nice and tasty, with the pleasant smell of the sea, and it's plenty black. I use it in my smoothies for its nutrient content, melanin in particular. This powder form is most convenient for me. Best squid flavor
I was looking for cuttlefish ink and found something better. A little goes a long way, and gives you the right color. I tried cuttlefish risotto in Venice and found this on Amazon. Delicious. Perfect for the recipe! Totally worth the price.

Make it black without dye.
Made a Halloween pizza with it first to see if it had a strong seafood or ocean taste, but I didnโt taste either of those things. I plan to experiment with baking sweets next.

Best of used for cooking not for cocktails
It smelled horrible but did dye the drinks black and didnโt stain the teeth but you could family taste a fishy smell in the cocktails not enough to ruin it but enough to make you kidda debate wether you would want to drink it this product is more for making savory dishes like pasta and pastes not cocktails

Just a heads-up, this powder has a pretty strong squid smell! It definitely gives food a rich black color, but you can really smell and taste the seafood note.
