It feels high quality and was packed well. The texture on the outside is a bit too rough for my liking, and I received the wrong colour.

After over a year of daily use, I can say that this is *almost* the perfect tumbler. No leaks, no sweating, fits every cupholder I’ve encountered, and it keeps beverages cold for many hours. I go to bed with ice water and it’s still full of ice in the morning. My only complaint is that the lid can often be very difficult to open.

I wanted a cup that will keep my coffee hot. I watched an independent test of this cup and 9 others. Ironflask wasn't even on my short list of picks. This cup was put in a MINUS 40F freezer for 5 hours and the internal temperature dropped from 156F to 115F. The top, actually both tops that come with it, is double walled just like the cup, so your cold will do just as good. It holds 25 oz to the brim and 23 oz with the top on and tight. The top. I had one heck of a time unscrewing it when I first got it. I'm pretty certain you can throw this against a wall and if the flap stays closed, you won't lose anything inside. The straw-top is self sealing but will still leak a little bit. One cup of coffee in that I nursed for 4 1/2 hours and I'm a happy man right now. BTW, that test. YETI didn't do so good. I'll say this again, I hardly ever leave reviews on anything. The Iron Flask very much deserves one! I use this mainly as a water bottle for my work day and it's probably the best one I've ever used. The overall construction feels very premium and solid. It has a nice grip to it, and the lid seals completely with no leaks or air coming through. Cold drinks stay cold and hot drinks stay hot for a *very* long time. I've also gotten many compliments on the way it looks. One other surprise for me was the soft bottom. This makes sure it doesn't make a loud noise when you place it onto a table. Just a 5 star product all across the board!
