I picked up the Yaheetech 35kg Barbell Set recently for my home gym, and overall, I’d say it’s a solid, affordable starting point for beginners. You definitely get good value for your money, and the plates themselves (which are cement-filled plastic) seem durable enough for normal daily use. The bar has a comfortable, non-slip grip, and the star collars do a decent job of keeping the weights in place, though I sometimes have to tighten them up between sets. It’s not a fancy Olympic set, and the plates are bulkier than cast iron, but for building strength at home without spending a fortune, this set is genuinely good and I would recommend it. Great, affordable, and good enough quality. The spin succers often got loose when I first used it, but if you only use it for one weight, just hit it with something hard, and it doesn't loosen

it's a bog standard ez bar for the most part, the added weights are great and do feel heavy. grip wise it's as much as you'd expect from any other bar, so does functionality. easy to set the bar up, all you need to do is just get both the end, insert them till the hole lines up and then use the screw and allen key to secure it in place. where it falls however is the screws used to secure the weights in, they do not properly secure themselves and need to be re-secured everytime i lift, meaning otherwise they get all wobbly and have the potential to just slide off.

Not the best! It’s a bit flimsy as the bar comes in 2 pieces & the way it bolts together using a grub screw is not very good, the weights seem ok though!

started my strength journey, went from standing overhead pressing 15kg for 1 rep to 40kg for 6 reps. Well built, will not snap in the middle, bought a couple of 10kg weights to get to the aforementioned 40kg so it definitely fits standard 1 inch plates.

The weights were split and the bolts don’t tighten properly.
