Snap Fasteners Kit, Heavy Duty Fastener Tool and 60-Set 15mm Marine Snaps

I needed to place snaps into outdoor curtains on my screened in porch, they always would blow into the porch during rainstorms and my patio furniture would get wet. I was easily able to install the female snaps into the curtains with this kit and then place the male snaps into the frames of the screens. This worked to keep the curtains from being blown inwards and solved my problem. The snaps are easy to install and appear to be made from non-magnetic stainless steel and after a few weeks show no signs of any rusting. If you need to install/replace snaps for fabric/leather, I'd recommend this kit.

Ordered some outdoor tailored made netting for under my deck to help reduce bugs and cut down on the bright sun. Product came with a handheld punch. Very time consuming to use. Ordered this snap fastener kit and yes, it's essentially a vice grip with the snap components welded on, but...it works GREAT! The alignment was perfect. It not only works to attach the snaps but also cuts the hole very cleanly. Just make sure you have the tension set right. I didn't at first and the hole was frayed a little. Tightened the grip just a little more and had a perfect hole cut for the snap. Only thing I would note is that the snaps that come with the product aren't the strongest so you might consider ordering marine grade snaps separately if your project requires a strong hold. Other than that, I definitely recommend this product.

Read lots of reviews before we purchased. This is a good product and the snaps worked well on our refurbished boat cover. As with others comments, wish the magnet holding the crimp/cut assembly pieces in place were stronger. We did this project in our garage, so it was fairly easy to find dropped items. Doing this outside or in the water would be more problematic, so plan accordingly. Would definitely recommend for purchase. Saved our cover from having to be replaced.

The snap kit arrived as quoted. Included items exactly as described. Includes a nice pouch to keep snaps and tools organized. Good quality, fair price.

The tool is awesome but the buttons are cheep and flimsy. Will not hold for long.

This tool has had some thought put into it, which is always appreciated in a tool like this. First the quality is very good, it's sturdy and comfortable to use. The snap accessories attach with magnets, which is a very convenient method to change plates out, only down side is the magnet strength could be better. The snaps along with this kit are plentiful and of good quality. The number one reason to buy this snap tool is the fact that the metal has been heat treated for hardness, for a clamping tool this is vitally important for longevity and precision. It's a keeper and there's nothing wrong with that.

The kit includes everything needed for moderate repair jobs, aincludes detailed instructions, and the crimping tool & dies seem to be of good qualitu. I soaked one of the stainless snaps in a slurry of salt & water for 3 weeks, and there were NO signs of corrosion, none. I'd definitely buy this kit again. I used it to replace several rusted (non-stainless) snaps on a boat cover.

These pliers work very well to fasten snaps - they are quite strong yet easy to use. I was having trouble with another product as the snaps kept loosening and coming apart on my boat cover. This tool seems to work better than the type where one must use a hammer to crimp the fastener.
