You can download additional embroidery patterns but I’m not about downloading stitches. It has lots of stitches included already

Can I use a 5x7 hoop with the se700?

The maximum embroidery area for the Brother SE700 is 3.93"x3.93" for the 4"x4" hoop. We do not have a 5"x7" hoop available for the SE700, unfortunately.

Can you do custom designs?

In order to create custom designs, you can use embroidery software. This is an additional purchase. The Brother SE700 is able to read the following formats: PES, DST, PHC or PEN (from ibroidery).
