I used these to transport tea cakes and pecan pie bars 14 hours in a van. Due to other reviews staying they feel apart, I taped the box with a single piece on each side and on the front to help hold it shut. (I could not rush them opening.). They probably would have been fine without the tape, but they held up extremely well. I stacked them 4-5 boxes in one stack. I still have some left over and I will find future projects too use them for. One box comfortably held 24 pecan pie bars with how I cut them. Though thin to me, it was sturdier than I thought and was functional for what I needed. The window on top is nice. I did wipe it out with a barely damp cloth (there were some card board shavings on some) and line the bottom with parchment paper. I do not know how it would hold up with a 9x13 cake as those would overall be heavier I believe. Maybe I'll have to try it.

Love them. It holds a lot, it's the right amount of thickness and thinnes. Easy to assembled, very cute box. Held quite a few items and was durable.

I am very pleased with these when they are assembled but it can be a bit of a headache to put them together. I recommend assembling several and having them ready to go as it is NOT a good idea to try and put them together quickly because they don't cooperate. Once assembled they hold my cookies well and feel quite sturdy. The trick is that you cannot add strategic pieces of tape to hold them together while trying to assemble them because they rely on flaps folding into slots so the whole box can disintegrate pretty easily before you get finished. I will order these again now that I know to make several up ahead of time. If you are looking for an easy to assemble item I would keep looking but if you want a nice box that offers a pretty presentation but takes a bit of time to put together these are great.
