This is a very adaptable magnifying aid. I can use this headset with or without eyeglasses. If you work on things up close and detailed, this works very well. This set has multiple choices of lens magnification which is very helpful. The light is adjustable to the area needed. The lenses flip up and out of the line of sight when not needed, but flip down again in a flash with no need to re-adjust. For the price, this is a great value.

My Mom is 86 and she was so down when I talked to her a couple of weeks ago. It made me so sad. There isn’t much an old person can do when they can’t walk and her sight has been going for awhile. She’s finally at a point where she can’t get on Facebook, can’t see the TV and can’t read her emails. Well I went to work right away looking for something to help her. I didn’t know if it would work for blindness but the product got great reviews for working with tiny pieces, I thought I’d give it a try. She called me the day after she got it on top the world! It had worked for her and was fantastic! It did get heavy in her nose but she didn’t let that bother her. She could now read emails and she was back on Facebook. And the value! For $32 I gave her more happiness than I think any of have been able to in years. The bag is super too because she can feel around for all the little parts. I’m just so pleased she has her little bit of the outside world back. Thank you!

I bought these for use when building scale models. Pros: 1. The build quality of everything is quite good. 2. The storage/carrying case is very convenient and well made. 3. The magnifying glass are plastic, but are high quality and gives clear images. 4. Choice between built-in battery and AAA batteries, the AAA batteries allows you to essentially use these indefinitely. Cons: 1. The shape of the "legs" that you attach the headband (or regular glasses style legs) to is not ideal. It's a bit too narrow for me so no matter which option I use it gets unconfortable after about an hour. For this reason I had to return the product. 2. I find the lights to be not very useful. They come from essentially the same angle as your eyes so there's little shadow. This is not good if you are working with small parts instead of a flat surface. Overall: Works very well but could be uncomforatble depends on your head shape, especially if you wear glasses.

Well made glasses with a solid feel. The light is bright. I use the 1.5X for electronics work and see the parts comfortably working on the bench. This is much better than the jeweler magnifier with headband that I previously used.

I got the 3xAAA version and loved it for the ~30 days that the LED worked. Optical quality was good, plus the LED placement and adjustability worked perfectly with the adjustability in the lenses. It was fantastic, I had clear, magnified vision AND great lighting placed exactly where I was looking! Unfortunately one evening I turned on the LED, it came on, flickered, and then died. Since then I have spent the past 2 months trying to contact the company to see what sort of warranty there is or if there is any sort of replacement available for just the LED part. Aside from an immediate auto-response from "John" asking for an order number and address, once when contacted via Amazon (which is no longer possible) and again when using the contact form on the Vision Aid website, there has been absolutely no response from the company. So, right now, it's a good product with a seemingly marginally reliable light and no support from the company. If

I was concerned about the strength of the lenses. They’re very good and I have some bad eyes.

Great product! My wife loves to cross stich. Some of the fabrics she was using the patterns holes were hard to see. I purchased the magnifying glasses for her and I received a big kiss. She stated she loves the glasses and wish she had them in the past.

Perfect for close-up work. Tiny cactus spines are annoying here, almost invisible. This lighted magnifier shows them clearly, is hands-free, allowing you to use the tweezers. Too small for reading, but perfect for close work such as crafts, threading a sewing machine needle etc. Comfortable to wear, compatible with glasses. The range of included interchangeable lenses allows you to select the right amount of magnification for the task.

I purchased these glasses because I had reached that inevitable stage of life where I found myself holding objects progressively further away whilst muttering, "The print's definitely getting smaller these days." I can honestly say these have helped my hobbies. Not only can I now see tiny components and intricate details, I can also ready those microscopic instructions written by sadists in those tiny booklets. The interchangeable lenses are excellent, the headband is comfortable, and the built-in light is bright enough to illuminate both your project and the crushing reality of your deteriorating eyesight. The nose piece can get a bit uncomfortable, but I guess that is hooter-dependant. Fixed with a little bit of sponge and not worth dropping a star for. As an added bonus, I accidentally caught sight of myself in the mirror whilst wearing them and was relieved to discover that I don't look ridiculous at all .... OK, I look like a slightly unhinged scientist who has spent the last twenty years attempting to reanimate a squirrel using parts ordered from eBay. The storage case is a nice touch too, providing a safe place to keep all the lenses together, rather than allowing them to migrate individually into that mysterious dimension where all small workshop items eventually end up. Highly recommended. I can now see things that, frankly, I was happier not knowing existed.
