Universal Single 1 Output LNB for Satellite Dish SKY Freesat HD TV KU Band Satellite Receiver with Spirit Level Bracket

I was going to get a new satellite dish but thought I'd try this first and I'm really glad I did, it was extremely easy to remove the old one connect this new one, a little tweak (turned it slightly) and I got all the available freesat channels with a perfect picture. I 100% recommend this.

Well made works well good fixings

Very easy to fit, like others, took under 15 minutes including getting my ladders out. Worked straight away and more, better quality channels than freeview.

I was getting poor Freesat reception and checked the dish. Found the LNB cracked and fragile due to aging. Rather than pay and wait for a repairman, I thought I'd try a bit of DIY. This LNB was very easy to fix and adjust (I found the skew angle required using dishpointer.com). Water came out of the old LNB and my signal now is excellent. If your Freesat is playing up, and you can easily access your dish, this product could be the upgrade you need. It certainly seems to be a very good quality LNB and includes a weather shield for the cable (which my old one lacked). Highly recommended.

Having been a Sky customer for many years, I finally decided due to look into my options when the costs became unreasonable. I found that my relatively new Samsung TV had a built in Freesat receiver (something that wasn't obvious from either the sales material or manual) so changing the lnb to allow free TV was a no brainer. I am ok with DIY but not so much with electronics so had some misgivings. However, this proved to be a straightforward job; the most difficult bit was detaching the Sky lnb whilst up an extension ladder. The instructions were very clear and the many many many channels are crystal clear. For anyone wanting to do the same, there are some good videos on YouTube.

Does the job at a great price

This converted my Daughters disused Sky dish into a Freesat dish. Her TV only had a single channel satellite connection and this converted the dish from the Sky twin channel LNB to a single channel. Was an absolute doddle to install as it reused the Sky cabling.

Item was easy to fit, clear fitting instructions included. Reception on TV is now Crystal clear The weatherproof boot for the connector is very good as water ruined my previous unit in this area, happy with purchase.
