Great Combo for Quiet, Professional/Home Workspaces
This Logitech Signature MK650 Combo is a solid choice for anyone needing a reliable, quiet, and comfortable setup. I use it in a shared workspace, and the quiet typing and clicking have made a noticeable difference—no more noisy distractions during calls or meetings! The SmartWheel mouse is another highlight—it automatically switches between smooth scrolling and precise control, which is great when switching between spreadsheets and web browsing. The ergonomics are also impressive: the keyboard has a soft palm rest, and the mouse fits naturally in the hand. It's clear Logitech put a lot of thought into comfort and function. One major plus for me is how easy the low-pressure keys are to press. If you're dealing with carpal tunnel, arthritis, or general hand mobility issues, this keyboard makes a real difference. Typing feels smooth and effortless, which reduces strain during long work sessions. I use it with Windows without issues, and the Logi Bolt connection has been stable and secure throughout. A few drawbacks: there’s no backlighting, so it's not ideal for late-night work. It’s also battery-powered (AA), which isn't a dealbreaker thanks to the long battery life, but I’d prefer rechargeable. Finally, while Logi Bolt is great for stability, it does mean you need a USB port for the dongle unless you're using Bluetooth—something to consider for laptop users with limited ports. Overall: A great value combo for professionals who want a quiet, ergonomic, and accessible setup. Nearly perfect—just a few minor trade-offs.

A nice combo
I'm using this with a Dell XPS 13. My previous keyboard/mouse combo only had the nano USB receiver (which is also an option with this combo), but I had occasional lag issues. I decided to get the MK650 and try it with Bluetooth. I think it's a little expensive for what you get, but it's been worth it. It connects instantly and the connection is stable, plus it frees up a USB port on my hub. I have had zero issues with lag, drops, or interference, even with other Bluetooth devices connected such as earbuds or speakers. Keyboard: I'm used to chiclet style keys, but this is fine. I would prefer it without the palm rest to make it more compact, but it is comfortable. I like the multiple leg options to set the angle. I also like the built-in media and volume control keys above the main keys. They are a requirement for me so I don't have to hit Fn whenever I want to pause or change volume. That said, I am finding several of the function keys to be very useful. Being able to bring up settings, quick print, or calculator with a single keystroke is quite efficient. My only real complaint is the lack of a light to indicate NumLock for the numeric keypad. It's a minor issue, since I have it on nearly 100% of the time, but an indicator to be sure would be nice. There is one for CapsLock, so the lack for NumLock seems odd. Mouse: It's a nice, smooth mouse. The wheel is better than many others I have used. The inclusion of two side buttons is nice. By default, they go forward and backward through webpages or other apps. I'm sure they can be customized using Logitech apps, but they're fine for me as they are. The button clicks are very quiet and actually took me a little while to get used to. I was so used to louder clicks that I wasn't sure at first if I had missed a click. But after a couple of days it was natural and I love the quiet. Overall, it's a good combo. A little more expensive than ones that only have the USB receiver, but it's definitely worth the price for my usage. Connection is solid and there are lots of little features that are convenient and useful.

My new favorite mouse and keyboard
I got a new computer that included a mouse and keyboard, which I quickly discovered I hated. I am a touch typist and am very picky about my keyboard. After a lot of research I finally decided on this wireless mouse and keyboard set by Logitech. I'm so glad I chose this one. It came next-day shipping, was very securely packaged, and I had it set up and running in under a minute. Both the keyboard and mouse connected seamlessly. I opened a Word document and typed a test page and let me tell you, I am very impressed with the feel and response of the keys. They are tight, without any wiggle room between them like you get from other brands, and the keyboard is laid out for a true touch typist. The keyboard has a nice weight to it and doesn't slide around as you're using it. The keyboard also has an integrated number pad that feels very close to a ten-key machine. It's a lot quiter than I'm used to, as well. I feel like this may be the best keyboard I've used in a long time. Now for the mouse: I am admittedly a mouse snob. I have an old Logitech Anywhere MX that I paid $70.00 for about seven years ago and absolutely love it. It's still going strong, but I kept it with my laptop and knew that I would have to get a new one for my new desktop PC. Let me tell you, this mouse is at least equal to my old MX, maybe even better. It's fast with no lag time, the wheel has that very satisfying click when you scroll, it's got a good, weighty feel to it, and it's silent. I mean, absolutely silent. No clicking noise at all. Can you pay more for a keyboard and mouse combo? Absolutely. But if you are a old-school typist like me, there's no need to waste your money. This is quality through and through.

Very Light Keyboard Action
I have owned many Logitech products since the later 80's. They make entry level or loss leader types of products as well as top end equipment. About 3 years ago I purchased a high end Dell with the included mouse and keyboard. Lately several of the keys do not respond well. The keyboard overall was adequate. I am a touch typist and can type between 50 - 60 wpm. These modern plastic keyboards do not have the 'feel' of a typewriter. I want to make a point here. This new Logitech keyboard has a 'light' touch. It allows me to type quickly and with way less effort than the Dell keyboard. The action of the keys is similar to the old IBM Selectric. It is not as robust and probably will not last 30 years without any maintenance. But for the $80 cost (including the laser mouse) it is pretty good. This is the second day I have used it and I can already notice that my fingers are adapting to their assigned positions. One of the hallmarks of a comfortable keyboard is the light action which will allow you to type for hours without any ill effects. I like this board and the mouse. It took me a while to find the magic formula to connect the Bluetooth mouse with my Windows 11 Dell XPS. Finally everything fell into place and I am not going to look back. 3/15/24 Additional Comments - I find myself actually becoming a better typist using this keyboard. It is very comfortable and this quality is something I have missed by using the keyboards they send with the computers or that corporations (read cheap) feel is all that is necessary. If you are serious (read more than two fingers) this will make you faster and more accurate which makes you more productive. There is one additional feature that contributes to comfort. That is the wrist rest that is built into the keyboard. It is 2" wide and provides support when you need it. I am going to keep the old keyboard for a backup or to give to someone I don't like (just a joke). RE: mouse - I had a wireless mouse for about three years when it finally died. I liked the fact that I didn't have to drag the cord around. This new mouse is small but has all the features I want. I don't miss the good old days when we had to use a mouse pad. I use AutoDesk's ACAD. This mouse has all the features I need to use the program. The cursor is accurate. The touch is light and my arthritic thumb thanks me. Thank you Logitech. Good product. Never going back to a $19 keyboard. Lesson learned - buy the best keyboard you can afford. It is the key to using a computer comfortably.

Great keyboard, okay mouse
Better than average mouse and keyboard combo. I replaced my old Logitech mouse and keyboard with this combo because it has Bluetooth connectivity. The little sticker-feet on the bottom of the mouse kept coming off. I eventually removed them completely and cleaned off the sticky residue because they became annoying. The mouse seems to work just fine without them.

Feels Surprisingly Luxurious!
This keyboard and mouse combo is fantastic. If a keyboard can feel luxurious, this is it. The keystrokes are incredibly soft and quiet, making it perfect for everyday office use. It has a smooth, premium feel that makes typing all day much more enjoyable. The mouse is equally impressive, incredibly quiet and very responsive. It glides smoothly and reacts quickly without any lag. This has become my regular, everyday keyboard setup in my office, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Highly recommend if you want comfort, performance, and a bit of a premium feel at your desk.

Sticky keys.
Purchased 08.21.25. The mouse is great. Super quiet. The keyboard however, not so great. The keys stick and type 30-50 characters at a time. Not just one key. Every key at multiple random times before I can complete a sentence. Even the space bar, delete key, special characters, all of them. The keyboard is clean, no spills or residue. Logitech customer support was no help at all. I would buy the mouse again but not the keyboard. It should last far more longer than 45-60 days.
