Good case for not a case friendly phone
Cases are subjective and it depends on what you are after for your zfold4 so I will try to give my fair assessment of this product. If you are looking for a minimal case to prevent scratches and marks during daily use, and if your are careful with your phones - this is a perfect case. The case back "is" leather but not your typical what you'd think or expect (Samsung actually states this is the real deal and not vegan or faux leather) - the front piece is plastic. Fitment is excellent and yes, you'll have to use the tape for the front cover to ensure everything stays tight (back cover does not use or need tape). I have no need for the s pen, if you do then this case is probably not for you. I have purchased half a dozen high dollar cases for this phone and have been disappointed in all of them becuase of one or more failures in functionality or design (too thick, can't wireless charge, sloppy fitment, built in screen protector, erratic hinge protection movement, cheap feeling, and the list goes on) - this is the first case that meets most of my criteria. That is the true problem with this phone, you have to prioritize your needs from an accessory standpoint. I happen to like minimal cases to keep an already bulky phone in check. My only gripe so far is the price is a bit absurd but the zfold4 is the fancy new flagship phone so accessories are always going to be a premium. If you are going to swap cases a lot, I can see a couple of potential issues with this case - 1. You'll need to be careful removing the front cover after initial install as the tape is quite strong and you could break the front portion. 2. I don't know how well the tape holds up after multiple swaps. 3. How the leather holds up - only time will tell.

Slim, Protective, and Convenient!
I've had this case twice now and each time I've been very pleased. The first time saw a lot of accidental drops and falls yet the case held up and the phone was never damaged. This is pretty amazing considering the pieces are rather small and have little surface area to stick to. After about 18 months, I took my Fold in for an inner screen replacement. I had to remove the original case which was showing some signs of wear due to daily use and accidental drops. Nothing that I wouldn't expect after 18 months. The case was still stuck on very well and took a bit of effort to remove. Once my phone was repaired, I immediately ordered this case again and I am glad I did. I like that it has a hand strap on the back. This phone is heavier than most and seems prone to falling. Having this handle allows me to safely hold or carry my phone and not worry about it dropping. Very underrated feature. The silicon material is just grippy enough to not slide out of our hands during use, while also not getting stuck in your pockets. The case is very well made and compliments the phone perfectly. The white held up much better than I thought and never discolored. Solid case. Highly recommend!

For what it does, it's fairly priced.
Looks good and mostly does the job. The front bezzle doesn't stick well and it breaks easily, but part of that's probably the design of the phone. Also, once you stick it on, it's mostly impossible to take it off without it breaking, which I've had to do to get the phone serviced a few times. But, I keep coming back for more. This is my 3rd one. For what it does, it's fairly priced.

Awesome case!
I recently purchased the SAMSUNG Galaxy Z Fold4 Standing Cover and I am thoroughly impressed with its design and functionality. The protective phone case is sleek and stylish, and the black color gives it a modern and sophisticated look. The inclusion of the S Pen and S Pen holder is a game-changer, as it allows for easy and convenient usage of the S Pen with the Galaxy Z Fold4. The kickstand feature is incredibly useful for hands-free viewing, whether I'm watching videos or participating in video calls. It provides a stable and reliable stand that enhances my multimedia experience. The case also offers excellent protection for my Galaxy Z Fold 4. It fits snugly and securely, ensuring that my phone is safeguarded from scratches, bumps, and falls. I feel confident carrying my phone around knowing that it is well-protected by this cover. Overall, I highly recommend the SAMSUNG Galaxy Z Fold4 Standing Cover with S Pen and S Pen Holder to anyone who wants to elevate their Galaxy Z Fold4 experience. It's a high-quality product that offers both style and functionality, making it a worthwhile investment for any Galaxy Z Fold4 owner.

Fantastic case to protect an expensive phone
The first thing I did one I got my fold 4 was look for a case. It's a great phone but also very slippery and thus easy to drop. I wanted a good brand so I figured Samsung would be at the top of the list since they make the phone to begin with. I've had this case for nearly a year and here's my experience. Pros: - Fits like a glove and at least the back is easy to remove. The front has an adhesive strip on the left side so that it cant easily be remove and reapplied. - The built in stand is amazing. I seriously use it multiple times a day. Best part is it doesn't add much thickness and folds out of the way with a satisfying magnetic click. - Cost wasn't much more than other comparable cases Cons: - The phone with the case on doesn't fit well in my car phone mount. To be fair this isn't really a fault of the case but the fact that the fold is just a large phone no matter whether it's open or closed. - When using the stand the volume and power buttons are on the bottom facing the table. This is not very ergonomic. So in the end I'm very happy with this case considering the quality and the price.

Front cover keeps breaking
So let me just get the pros out of the way. It comes with an S-Pen which is nice. This is basically a purchase for an S-Pen that comes with a case. Having the option to swap the pen holder and kickstand is awesome. Using the pen holder attachment makes it easier to hold in your hand for writing or drawing. The case is not too bulky at all. I've dropped my phone a few times, while being minor drops I don't notice any significant damage. Now for the cons. I have bought two of these cases, within the span of about a month. The problem is the front cover, the stem next to the hinge is so flimsy and is not secure on the phone. I am referring to that piece on the left when you hold your phone closed, facing upright toward you. It constantly popped off during use. When this stem first snapped, as in broke, I noticed there was a sticker I missed covering a bit of silicon meant to hold the case securely on the phone. This might have been the issue, I had thought, but once I bought the second one the same thing kept happening. You can pull back on this stem like a bow and freaking arrow, and I would a great number of times pulling my phone out of my pocket. Of course it did not take long to snap this second one. You cannot get a replacement part that is just the front section, you have to replace the whole case. Thanks Samsung. If there was a screen protection glass then it might help to hold this stem in place so it would stop flying everywhere. God forbid Samsung, a multi-million dollar enterprise, would have to shell out for this while subsidizing the cost. Certainly a company like Samsung has so little products, they would not be capable of doing this. My other gripes would be the stand itself. It is a cool feature, and I have made use of it myself. If you move your phone at all while using the stand, it will cave like it just got a text from a hot toxic ex. For a phone that I am terrified of damaging, this is not a good thing. From now on I will be using a non-Samsung case. If you are looking for a case+pen deal, this is not worth it. It seems like a good deal until you have to buy a new one. Who knew large corporations would follow the bootleggers in the "build it cheap so they have to buy a new one" stratagem for what seems like a legacy.

Best cover for the phone with attached stylus
I love my full four but I hate that there's no stylus in it. This case comes with a stylus so you can use the function in this very expensive phone. Made by Samsung is the only one you should probably get cuz I've tried a lot of the other ones and they don't work and you don't get a stylus. I also had one when I had a fold three. I would not use any other case except for the Samsung cases they're very durable and protects the phone and they're very easy to pop on the quality is good and the fit is excellent.

Looks Fantastic, But Lacks Defense in Key Area
It certainly fits the phone snug like a glove, better than the 2 cases I've had previously, and is also much slimmer. The matte black is very stylish. However, there is zero drop protection/padding, no built-in screen protector for the half screen like I've had before, the "adhesive" lining doesn't hold the half screen's thin part in place at all, and there's no spine protection like I've had previously. Sure enough, I've only had the case a week or two, and it fell out of my pocket when I got out of my car yesterday, so a very short fall (maybe a foot, foot and a half), but given the considerable weight of the phone, that little drop was enough to mark up the case, pop off the bottom half of it, and take a little nick of paint off my phone's now-unprotected spine. Though to its credit, the depth of the case is apparently enough that my half screen didn't get scratches despite landing facedown. Back to the positive- the interchangeable stand/S Pen slot function is actually really cool, and the fact that it came with an S Pen and was still a decent price was a very welcome bonus. The stand also leans the phone at a pretty good angle for watching videos or video chatting! Overall, it could be much better. UPDATE: It just broke for absolutely no reason other than I took it out of my pocket, what a joke...
