I bought this for my 5.7lb princess. So far, I’ve put her in it for morning walks and to town shopping in stores that allow animals. I like that it has a clip on the inside to attach to her harness so she can’t jump out. It is easy to put her in it because you can unzip the top, set her in and zip it shut. Then she can stick her head out the hole. The head opening it a bit larger than it should be for my girl as she can pretty much come out of it when I sit it on the ground, but it has that harness clip that prevents that. Even cinching it up doesn’t make the hole small enough. That said, it’s very convenient to have for walks and shopping. It’s very well constructed. And it’s comfortable to wear. It’s got pockets on both sides also.

Multiple pockets, collar clip, water bottle holder, D clips on the straps for keys (I attached my water bottle that has a carabiner clip on it and it didn’t even get in my way) adjustable straps, buckle clips around the front (or back) for stability, very sturdy and safe all around for a little primadonna who hates to get her paws dirty. I went hiking and even climbs up some rocks with it and never felt like she was at risk for falling out of it or the bag falling off of me. So totally worth the money I spent! For reference I got the small one that’s labeled for 2-5 pounds but it fit my 10 pound Maltese perfectly. She likes to be swaddled so that might have been a factor in her level of comfort. The zipper pocket on the back of the bag is one big pocket with two entry zippers, and it’s plenty big enough for my iPhone 16 pro and still had room for other things, like a small wallet or snack bag. The side pockets are very roomy for carrying stuff (like a vape, heh 😅). If you want to carry it on the front, you will need someone to buckle and unbuckle the top strap for you. I couldn’t reach it. Just all around a great pet carrier! I have zero complaints! My diva absolutely appreciated this purchase. She understood immediately what it was for and within a couple hours of using it, she recognizes it and wants in. I shopped for a long time to find a carrier that fit my and her needs, and I’m so glad I found this one. I was hesitant to size it down since she’s 10lbs and not 5lbs, but I’m glad I did because she loves it so much!

My dog seems to like it ! Fits a little lower on my back than I would like , but works when cycling ! It is the first one I’ve found that is easy to put the dog 🐕 in. Very sturdy like a real backpack ! Has a comfort collar for the dogs head !!!! I might need to get her goggles !

Maybe works for others. Seemed well made. But the pack all by itself is heavy. Then add a fat Chihuahua. She's old and I don't think she can make it for a full walk so I am trying to think of a way to help her make it home when she poops out. I can't carry her very far anymore because I'm old too. Plus I have 2 other dogs. So I need to return. Maybe I'll try a cart or stroller.I took off two stars. One for being heavy and the other because I couldn't adjust the straps to fit closer to my body.

I bought this for my 9.5-10lb chihuahua-terrier. She is skinny and very long/tall for her weight.Her back length is 13” (base of neck to base of tail). When sitting, she is 16.5” to the top of her head and 11” to the base of her neck. Large was tall enough for her.Some details I like on this ventilated version: more ventilation (obviously) as I’ll mostly use this in warmer climates, water bottle holder with Velcro strap to hold it more securely and hidden zipped back pocket storage (panel that faces toward your body when wearing it).It also has a harness/leash tether inside, removable firm base for more comfortable sitting, chest and waist straps (for the human) for added stability when hiking, and it sits flat on the ground (wouldn’t leave unattended like this as it could tip over, but it’s reasonably stable for a few seconds like this). The padded shoulder straps are also nice. Can be adjusted for both short and tall people.

Great doggy bag, my 5 lbs Yorkie is blind so she struggles on hikes with obstacles (rocks, roots), the side zipper is particularly convenient, that's her favorite spot, when she keeps her head out on the side to get fresh air and smelled. The bag is well made, with clips at chest and waist. The bottom can be removed which is convenient for cleaning. There is a tether in the bag. I haven't used it for an extended hike yet but so far I'm very happy and my dog seems to like it a lot too.
