Nutramax Dasuquin MSM Joint Supplement, Small/Med Dogs, Soft Chews, 84ct

My small dog has been taking this supplement for joint support, and we’ve had a great experience with it. The tablets are easy to give, and my dog likes the taste. After using it consistently, she stays active and moves comfortably. I trust this brand for its quality and will continue purchasing it. Highly recommended for dogs needing extra joint support.

I've used Cosequin for our horses for years with success so when my pup had an issue I was quick put her on these. About 6 months ago I started my pup on Dasuquin supplements, and waited to see how they would work for her before reviewing. For reference: 6.6lb Min Pin mix, 3 years old. I took her in because she injured her back leg being a spaz and superman jumping off the patio steps. Vet suggested that once the acute issue heals, she is likely to have arthritis as she ages. While I don't believe she has arthritis now, I have seen a marked improvement in her movements since she has been on these, if possible, she's even more zoomie now, ha! She seems more comfortable running, jumping, and even walking. And to be fair, I didn't see any noticeable issues before the injury but I have seen that since being on them she runs faster and seems just more nimble than before. When I told him I was going to start these, Vet told me to give her a 1/2 of a chew, once a day with a meal. She takes them freely, and acts as if it is her "least favorite" treat. Easily eating it with no struggle but before consuming she looks up at me with the "can I have something else instead?" face. When nothing else is offered, she readily chomps it down. Then she gets her dinner meal and she has never had an issue with her tummy from them. I think the key to easy administration is that I have always given them as a "treat" and used lots and lots of praise and excitement so that she wants them excitedly. Notes: they can be a little tough to cut evenly, they crumble a bit but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to do. They smell sort of medicinal and also sort of meaty-they don't smell good, they don't smell bad; but I have noticed that the scent increases as time goes on and as I near the end of the batch they smell almost a little stale-granted, they have been open for 6 months by the time I am at the end of the bag here. I store them in an empty treat container for ease and a better air tight seal which I believe has kept the moisture better for the long haul. Since she is only getting 1/2 a day, it's a great value for me, but I can see how it would be costly for larger dogs that need more chews to meet the dose needed for relief. And last, it does take some time to start seeing a difference. Give it at least 2 months on the supplement before you assess if there is any sort of improvement. Take a video on Day 1 and Day 60 and compare for yourself. Overall: I 100% recommend these to anyone who wants to supplement their dog and have already recommended them to a few people who are now also using them.

This seems to be working great so far. I have a miniature Australian shepherd who was struggling to get around and stopped jumping on the bed. I have only been giving it to him for three weeks, but he has started getting on the bed again and can jump in the car easier.

I wanted to take a moment to share our sweet boy Thor’s story because your product has truly given us more time with him. This is an amazing product, costly but definitely helps with inflammation, and stiffness for my 2 girls. I tried another product and both of my dog's started showing signs if discomfort right away.

My dog begged for another chewy so long i had to pretend to sneak an actual treat out the bag and give it to her. I’ve seen great results with this product with my aunts dog who I dog sit often. She was not moving well due to old age. I kept her this past week and she ran and played with my sisters 8 y/o energetic poodle. She had no problem getting in her bed or stairs. I’m very hopeful this works for my dog. She loves them with makes it easy to give. I will buy more in the future regardless what dog I have because I’ve see the results. Way better than prescription meds and natural ingredients. She didn’t get lethargic or sick acting. I’m very optimistic. One thing beside the results I’ve seen that sold me that she only has to take one a day and I have the iloption to give every other day which proves to me that this company doesn’t just want you to give more only to run out and buy more. This was not only worth the money for the huge bag I got but cheaper than prescription. No vet visit need only to get doggy anti-inflammatories and expensive vet visit only to be told she’s 15 & old duh! This product is proof. It works. I’m sold even though I hate giving my dog meds. She loves them they’re a nice size treat for my yorkie and nice size for my aunts German Shepard and shitzu. Same treats that go by weight. So all the dogs get the same convenient “treat” I must add the chew is soft enough for my dog sensitive teeth yet don’t breathe up in my hand holding it. Please try this if you have hope. Start early when you see signs of ware and tear. This saved my 15 y/o yorkie from being out down since surgery is not an option for her joints and torn ligaments from her injuries. I thank this company and welcome it to the whole family. Got these for my dog when I thought she was having some arthritic problems, turns out she wasn't, good to have on hand for if she needs it.

It worked the very first week . After my dog started to take it ( seems very yummy as well , she loves it) her shaky legs was hundred percent better.

Going on the recommendation of my pups rehabilitation coach, I purchased this product. He’s only been on it a week so I cannot comment on how it is. Update : 6 months later Getting great results.

Helps with joint pain in our dog

The loss of the star is due to price which seems a bit high and the taste. Nope I didn’t give them a try but to get my dog to eat them I need to pretend it’s a treat. Not sure how long that will last before he flat out refuses to eat them.
