This is better protection than the film protection that the Perdix 2 comes with. I was careful to make sure the face was clean with no dust when I installed the shield. The fit is perfect and seems secure. I've used the computer for 10 or so dives and it is secure and hasn't gotten any scratches. I'm not very kind to my computer. It gets banged around a bit when I'm grabbing lobsters or handling speared fish and when I get back on the boat I just drop it in my gear bucket with my other detached pieces and parts. I like that there are 2 protectors because I'll likely need the 2nd at some point. I do have a silicone protector on the computer that likely gives some additional protection in keeping the screen protected.

I ordered these as my screen on my Perdix got scratched the very first wreck I penetrated after getting it. This protector is more rigid than the OEM but it fits perfectly and is easy to install. Peel off the old one, clean the screen and verify there is no dirt and set it in place. The protector fits so perfectly that if you are not lined up when you place it, it will not fit so use caution. Great product, great protection for an expensive dive computer. Well worth the money.

Great product that made my Perdix 2 look brand new! Radical difference between the old damaged screen protector and the lovely new one. Installation and installation instructions were super easy. Hardest part was removing the original one. I doubt there will be any issues when I actually take it into the water for the first time, but if there are, I will update.
