I searched for a small spinner to use as my carry-on when I am checking a suitcase for a longer trip vs using my full-sized spinner carry-on for a shorter trip. I realized how exhausting it was in big airports to lug my backpack or tote bag but didn't want to use my full-sized spinner carry-on as a second suitcase. This smaller spinner, which is essentially square, is perfect. Several people have commented that it is too large to fit under the seat, but I didn't buy it for that purpose. I put it in the overhead bin and use a tote bag or small backpack as my undersea bag, which can rest on top of the spinner as I move through the airport. After I collect my medium checked bag (25" bag, the largest I use) at baggage claim, I can easily maneuver it plus the small spinner with my tote or backpack on top out to the curb for a cab or car service. You could also use the external sleeve to place the smaller spinner on top of your checked bag and carry your tote or backpack. For reference, I am a "senior" woman, 5'1" tall. Features I like about the bag - it's sturdy and rolls easily; the outside pocket with padded sleeve keeps my laptop or iPad and charging cables handy without having to open the main compartment; the small side pocket holds my water bottle for easy access; and the mesh pocket in the main compartment is useful for organizing smaller items. I don't use the flashlight built into the handle or the USB port. The overall capacity is larger than many similar under-seat spinners or roller bags (40 liters according to the product specs).

So,I've had this since March 2023. Theyre about to embark on their 5th international trip. They've held up well and rolls well, with the smaller rolling better than the larger, which can become unbalanced if one's not carefull when packing full. No rips or tears. However, after our last trip in June, I noticed that one of the protective caps on the corner of the large case is somewhat lifted. I presume it may have gotten snagged on some conveyor mechanism? The flashlights work and the bottle holder is handy. I will reset the lifted edge with and adhesive. PS: The smallest lighter blue case is the under seat carry on also from Verage. It works well but be mindful it is NOT a neat fit under united's 737 Max. It fits in overhead bins. It Does meet the carry-on measurement requirements of the Airlines Ive used since having these (United, AA, COPA, Delta)
