PowerStop Z36 Truck & Tow Brake Pad & Rotor Kit Front & Rear K6560-36

I recently upgraded the brakes on my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a Power Stop Z36 Truck & Tow Brake Kit, and the difference is night and day. These brakes are hands down one of the best aftermarket upgrades I’ve made to my truck. **Installation:** Everything came neatly packaged, and the kit included slotted and drilled rotors, carbon-fiber ceramic pads, stainless hardware, and even high-temp lubricant. I installed the kit myself with basic tools, and everything fit perfectly without any modification. The instructions were clear and straightforward. **Performance:** Braking is significantly improved—especially under load. I tow a 6,000 lb trailer occasionally, and the stopping power with the Power Stop kit is rock-solid. No more brake fade or vibration going downhill or during sudden stops. Pedal feel is much firmer, and it inspires confidence every time I hit the brakes. **Noise & Dust:** The pads are quiet and produce very little dust, which is a big plus compared to the OEM ones that left black dust on my wheels constantly. My wife's 2015 chevy tahoe LTZ needed brakes and after hours of research and bouncing from auto parts web site to auto parts web site. I decided there were enough positive reviews or this kit to pull the trigger. This was the first time purchasing a brake pad and rotor kit from powerstop and from the beginning it was a great choice. I recieved the order in a timely manner but the box the kit came in was mangled. So I look through all the product to make sure nothing was missing from the kit. While doing this I notice the rear brake pads sent with the kit had been use and returned. I called customer service told them what I had recieved they ask me a couple questions and send them a picture of the pads. After doing this they sent a new set of pads out the next day. That's truly great customer service! Next lets talk about the install. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but make sure you set aside about 4 or so hours to replace all four rotors and pads. Plus I was using hand tools not pneumatic. However, over all it was pretty easy. My advice is just follow the instructions and if you've never done brakes before pay attention to how it comes apart and take your time. The last step to the install process must be followed exactly which are thdinstructions on setting the pads these are very important and must be followed exactly. We had this kit installed now for a month and it's been great no noise, dust, and stops great! I would definitely buy again.

Fantastic kit, good quality parts. Everything fit very well together. Included hardware was nice. Purchased for a 2019 Cadillac Escalade. Only been installed a week but they are working great, nice even stopping power.

I have had them on my truck for a year now and they work great. They worked so well I bought a pair for my f250.

Easy installation on my wife’s Escalade, all parts fit perfectly. Took about 3 hours for all for wheels. Love the look of drilled and slotted rotors. There is a very specific break in instructions so leave time for a 15-20 min drive for proper rotor/pad break in. These brakes seem to stop really well.

Had a different brand installed and had brake failure when pulling my camper. Bought these and used the 501 brake fluid (high boiling point) no more problem and stops better then the other ones. Well worth the investment.

The brakes I got are great, my stopping distance is better than when my 2015 Silverado 1500 was brand new. Once broken-in they’re smooth and very able. The kit came with everything I needed parts wise, including new caliper clips and new grease boots. The boots also game with the standard brake grease packets. I elected to use a little nicer grease I already had though. I’ve had zero noise and the brake dust seems to be a lot lighter than my stock setup. The only issue is the packaging. This product comes from the manufacturer and is not boxed up by amazon. It’s a set of four rotors and pads so it is HEAVY. It was packaged in a box so flimsy that my initial rotors were actually damaged beyond use. Additionally I was missing a few items. Luckily amazon played a good middle man and sent me a replacement before I sent in the bad ones. Partially because I couldn’t re-use the first box anyway. Overall, I would buy these again.

I have to boast and definitely leave a review for the overall experience because it was definitely flawless. The products arrived in a timely manner and as expected. It was boxed up well, and all four rotors were boxed up and packaged individually in plastics and had some foam cushions to avoid any damages being caused by shipping and transport. All the parts were present upon unboxing and prepping the rotors and brake pads before installation. No major defects asides minor blemishes prolly from machine production which does not effect the functionality nor aesthetics of the brake kit. Only thing I was a little disappointed about was that there was not enough brake grease supplied. Each brake pad boz were provided only with a packet each of brake grease which were insufficient. It was not enough to apply on main contacts on brake pads. However, overall the installation was a breeze, followed the instructions as directed for breaking in the new pads and rotors and the braking performance definitely are effective and does what it's suppose to. May I also mention I did Bleed and flush the brake fluid and Gahdam!!! I couldn't be more happy. Pull the trigger on these bad boys. Brakes are fantastic, easy installation. Definitely more stopping power and better than OEM. Only downfall is due to the weight the package was shipped and delivered through Purolator, first package never showed. Amazon was obviously amazing and replaced them, second package arrived a day late. Other then that the product is great. Definitely recommend.

I looked everywhere for a full set of rotors and pads for my truck and couldn't find a better price than these so I was a bit hesitant on ordering. Other than my own mistake of stripping a front rotor bolt, install was super easy. So far so good. I'm not sure if I can actually feel a difference in stopping power but they stop none the less. Make sure you break them in as per the instructions on the box. Also, RIP to the back of whoever shipped these to my front door.

Be aware that when you buy these it is considered an overweight item (110lbs, it’s one giant box of boxes) and does not fall under their regular shipping process. Amazon quoted a few days to arrive, in reality it took over 3 weeks due to requiring a two person delivery team who was working as a subcontractor under purolator. Only found this out by reaching out to purolator as Amazon had couldn’t provide updates. As for the brakes… They work great, it’s been a few months now and they definitely have more bite over the OEM. The kit also came with all new slide pin boots which was nice.

This break kit is everything you need and they are fantastic. They installed perfectly and I made sure to follow the break-in guidelines (which I would recommend you follow based on some other reviews as well) and I can say these are way better than stock. I would recommend picking these up if you can get them for a good price and would recommend shopping around first before you commit to make sure you are getting the best deal (price went up pretty quick right after I picked them up)
