At times, more glossy than matte, but overall, no complaints.
I am highly sensitive to smells, but this has no smell. I use a foam brush to apply, then wash it out well with soap and water. It washes out easily. If you want a higher shine, glassy effect, apply multiple layers. However be careful--just because it is dry does not mean it is "cured". I have found it is easy to scratch the surface of it until it has had several days to thoroughly set.Note: If your product gets thick after a long period (2 yrs., in my case), DO NOT try to water it down, even though it is water-based. It left a white haze on my projects. My fault; I should have tested it on a scrap piece to verify it wouldn't be affected.

A gentle adhesive for tissue collage!
Wonderful thickness for dรฉcoupage in collage layering. A perfect adhesive for color tissue or inkjet printed tissue. Matte texture when dry minimizes edge transitions and dries clear.
