My son who is transitioning from 5th into 6th grade, completed this book towards the end of his 5th grade and in early summer. He learned a lot from this book. The book contents variety of word problems including percentages, fractions, graphs, multiplications, divisions etc. It challenged my son very well to learn more and more. I highly recommend this book.

This is a well thought out book. Great math exercises for any child. Easy to read. Not much room for working out the equations, but nothing a sheet of paper wouldn't solve.

I purchased this book from Amazon for my 4th grade son (who will be in 5th grade in Fall). The book was recommended by his school teacher for him for Summer. My son loves doing atleast 1 page every day and it takes him 20-30min for a page. Iam very glad i got this book for him and highly recommend it for kids grade-4-5 to work during summer/winter break.

Great Content, but considerably light compared to the other books in this series. It's has about 1/3 as many pages.

Not only is this math a 20 minute daily activity it also provides an online help whenever needed. I find it useful for myself and my daughter to keep up with the work provided daily and if needed an online tutor whenever we feel like it's necessary. Overall, it's a perfect way to learn your math in a simple yet precise matter. Perfect indeed.

It is very simple put together. Especially for $24. Very thin for the price. 71 pages.

I work in data science area and I know how important the essential math skills are to the job. Therefore, I choose this book for my son. The contents in the book are well-designed. Within 20 minutes everyday, my son gets the math skills. This book even helps him understand the math concepts which he learned but didn't completely understands in class. This book helps kids get confidence in data science.

My son was studying for 4th grade Math Olympics at his school and there was good mix of one step and two step problem solving and computation problems. I feel that this book prepared him well for that, and that was only the first part, we still have more pages to go but the book covers the span of 4-6th grade, so we will work more in it the summer to prepare him for 5th in the fall. It also has the answer key in the back which can be helpful to double check yourself.

This book is exactly what I was looking for at a very good price, with different areas to cover the helpful hints came in very useful when working with student of varying abilities. very impressed how quickly I received the book from Amazon. Will be buying more.

I'm really enjoying doing the exercises in this book and would recommend it for anyone that has problems with math. The only thing I find difficult is there isn't too much explanation on how to do some areas and it leaves me confused because I don't know how they arrived at their answer. They provide the answers and that really helps.

Brilliant book. I use this book for my year 5/6 students to improve essential maths skills and problem solving skills. All my students loving this book. Highly Recommend.

Very useful book, I strong recommend this book for grade 4-6 Mastering Essential Math Skills Problem solving, Grade 4 -6... Very helpful book my daughter is much interested in doing the word problems. Just to follow instructions and step by step to practice to solve world problems. I recommend this product to all kids to obtain good practice in real world problem solving.

This is not the up to date version. There are errors in the answers. These are not just typos like a missing digit as some of the answers are names of cities. I have emailed and have been asked to return the book and buy the new one instead. Not exactly the customer service I was looking for. My daughters been writing in the book so we have a homeschooling record of work so I can’t return it. If you leave a 5* review you get a freebie, which people must be desperate for. We have stopped using the book now after I doubled checked things the book was saying she had gotten wrong which were actually correct. When you home school sometimes you rely on answers sheets as so much work is completed it’s a time saver that you also don’t have to complete every task. If your counting on the answer sheets to check anything in this book. Don’t. Really disappointed as the questions and topics are well thought out.
