Some 'persuading' required
This item arrived without damage in spite of inadequate padding in the box. It looks good and fits the tank generally pretty well. One star deducted for the need to 'persuade' the bolt holes to line up. What does that mean - Front to back, the bolt holes were too 'open' and didn't line up with the bolts. I attached the front bolts first (loosely) and then used a prybar and block of 4"x4" wood, prying against the bumper assembly, to finally persuade the back bolt holes to line up with the bolts. I used a motorcycle jack and blocks of wood to raise the assembly, which worked well on my '99 Wrangler.

Perfect replacement
This piece was as thick as the OEM unit, had a nice finish and was the perfect replacement for the old rusted skid plate. This piece holds the fuel tank in place so it is necessary to keep it in good order. I will note that the front facing edge was flared outward a little, but this was easy to align with a couple blows from a rubber mallet. I also used a transmission jack to lower and raise the tank. the tilt capabilities of a transmission jack make alignment a lot easier.
