Snowboard butt saver!
I just started snowboarding and having these shorts has been a game changer! I’m less fearful about falling and have been able to progress faster. When I have fallen, I didn’t even feel it. It was great! 10/10 would recommend. I’m 5’5” about 150lbs and the medium fit perfect. I always wear liners under my pants, so I already had my pants a size up, so I was able to fit these under my pants. They are thick, so if your pants are already fitted it would be hard to have these under.

Saved my butt on the roller skating rink
Well, I fell roller skating for the first time. I had heard of WAY too many stories of people who waited until they got hurt before they bought safety gear, so I had on the full compliment. Elbow pads, knee pads, wrist guards, double certified helmet, and these cushy butt pads. It felt like I fell on a pillow on the roller skate rink. I fell hard and didn't hurt anything because the gear hit the ground instead of my bones. I give these butt pads 2 thumbs up. I'm 5'6 170 lbs woman who wears like a 10-12 and I got the large/extra large and they fit great. If you have really big thighs, there is an elastic cuff at the bottom so it might dig in a bit. That being said, I certainly dont have small thighs, they are pretty big and I was fine. Wore them over leggings with a shirt tied around my waist.

Amzing quality
I give it a 4 only due to it being hard padding but besides that these are absolutely amazing as a snowboard. I am an xs and this was the first brand that actually fit me very well there are also a snug fit , I got my husband a pair as well and he finds them very comfortable on his legs witch he works out a lot so he has very big legs. On impact I feel as if they help so much very much worth the price !!

Amazing protection and quality
I originally bought a cheaper pair and after one fall I injured my tailbone really bad it was so difficult to snowboard for 2 weeks ! sometimes buying something cheap can be a waste of money so I ended buying this and I believe it serve the purpose for what it cost! in terms of functionality as a beginner snowboarder I haven’t had any issues and my mobility is fine so it doesn’t interfere with performance and it fit great for me ( large size) ; it doesn’t weight a lot and yes it can be a little bulky so you may have to wear pants that are not extremely tight but let me tell you that you will be protected … I fell a couple more times and it didn’t hurt the way it hurt with the cheaper pair I bought before! I used them for a season and it hasn’t given me any tears ! functionally is great like I said but I find my self lifting and tightening it throughout the day to make sure they are in place!

saved me from what could’ve been a season-ending fall
I bought this butt pad about three seasons ago and it’s been one of my better winter gear purchases. The design is great, the main area is a single, well-shaped piece that protects exactly where you need it. Durability has been impressive. After three seasons of use there’s still no visible damage to the pad itself. The only wear is that the Velcro has lost some grip, mostly because it collects lint when you run it through the dryer. Not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind. I’m writing this now because I had a nasty fall on an icy day walking to the lift. I still felt it — it definitely hurt — but without this pad it probably would have been a season-ending injury. Instead, I shook it off and kept riding.

Cushion, not armor
These shorts are soft foam, not impact armor. I would not trust them to provide any real protection whatsoever. Just sitting on the foam compresses the material fully.

Great quality
Great quality. Saved me from a bad bruise, because it covers the whole hip and butt
