Watch Band with Ballistic Nylon Material Strap and High-End Black Buckle (Matte Finish Buckle) (Black, 20mm)

I have bought both the regular NATO 5 ring watch strap and the 1.5 mm thick NATO 5 ring watch strap. Both are great. Both different but great. The thinner one is lighter and fits great and is of pretty good quality. It fits a tad loose compared to the thicker one (which I prefer) but I think it's because of how thin it is. It does feel different and looks different but never the less, still a great strap. But on to the one shown here. (1.5 mm thick.) This is an absolutely great strap. Although both same in length as the thinner strap by artstyle, it wears a bit shorter. One hole size shorter but it still wears fine. It seems to be of higher quality. It also seems they use higher quality nylon. Maybe 1000 denier nylon? Both are fantastic and great straps, but this one here just boasts a bit better quality. Plus the texture feels much better. thinking about upgrading the strap I use on my Seiko 5 to this 1.5mm one with brushed hardware. Mine came with 20mm push bars (which I ordered a 20mm strap) and a tool. Here are the technical specs for both straps: Length without buckle: 10 7/8 inches - 27.62 centimeter Length with buckle: 11 1/4 inches - 28.57 centimeter Material thickness: Thick strap: .06 inches - 1.52 millimeters Thin strap: .045 inches - 1.14 millimeters I posted pictures so you can judge yourself. But I have no regrets on buying either strap. But I will be buying more of this 1.5 mm thick strap from now on since it's definitely worth the money and the quality and feel is definitely superb. I used to have a PVD coated steel bracelet but I removed it since these NATO straps are just much more comfortable and I can wear gloves with my watches. Money well spent. These straps have made me love my watches even more.

Really nice, high quality watch band. Much better than previous and cheaper bands I've bought on amazon. The hardware is very nice and the band feels relatively thick and durable in comparison with bands of less quality. I like the matte coating and the rounded look of the metal loops as well. Note, the strap is long and the excess is meant to fold back over and be reengaged by the metal loops (the end of the strap should face the bottom of your wrist and not point up to the watch face.) If only they had a more diverse selection of colors! Edit: Took a star away after wearing for 2 months. The strap that gets tucked into the metal loops tends to get loose and needs to be tucked back in. Seems that the metal loop doesn't hold as well as it did when first purchased. Still a good band overall though.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The band is exactly what I required. Well made, good material and he brass is blacked out, nothing shiny. I picked this band because ALL the other bands used bright shiny brass. Note, when I say "brass" I'm taking about the metal buckles. The length was also important. Having almost ten inch wrists, I am able to engage the first hole on the band. While the band is a little snug, it is still comfortable. Sadly, they don't make anything longer. No one does. At least what I can find.

Compared to the Maratac bands, this one is not as well designed. For starters the buckle seems to be bent under the nylon at the prong bar union. Also the orientation of the watch on the band puts the tail end of the strap high and can't double back due to the extra space between the double D ring keepers. This band may be good for most however I will be purchasing another from Maratac. Unfortunately I don't think I have a good enough reason for a return.

This watch band is well-made of durable materials. I wore one on a 5 week journey through India, not once did the strap give me any trouble and it was comfortable enough I didn't pay any attention to it. The band has gone swimming with me in the Ganges river, waterfall trekking, travelling, sleeping at the airport and held up just fine. This is my 2nd one in smaller size for a different watch. No reason not to get one.

I was looking for a NATO strap replacement to the one i have had for years, and it was well overdue to be replaced. So decided to go for something cheaper compared to the previous brand I ordered from. BIG MISTAKE. Don't get me wrong, it functions, the material is comfortable but for long term durability, this will not get years of life out of it. It's only been 2 weeks since I received it, and I have not been rough on it whatsoever, just normal daily wear/tear to see if it needed any breaking in. It's already fraying on the edges, the hole for the buckle, has stretched to almost the next hole on the watch band. I wear my watches slightly loose, just enough space to get the tip of my index finger under the band I am wearing. Overall, yes this thing is super comfy, but for just 2 weeks of normal wear and not doing anything that would be considered rough or putting it in the elements (plus the not all the hardware is metal whereas my previous one was all stainless steel). This is not the NATO strap for it nor is it the strap that you are going to get any longevity out of since it is doing this with only normal wear. I can't imagine how this strap would hold up if I took this thing out snowboarding or even swimming. The brand I had prior, that I am going right back to is Clockwork Synergy, I had the Heavy NATO Strap in black (they offer a ton of variety/materials). I believe they sell them on amazon but I order directly from their website. If you do want something cheap but durable and you can get some decent life out of, go with bisonstrap on amazon.

Art style has great bands, wish more colors were available, but theyre good quality and thick bands.
