KRONUNG Instant Coffee, 200g jar

Coffee reviews tend to be suspect when, for example, people give Maxwell House or Folgers good reviews. How can you trust those reviews but by concluding that a majority of coffee drinkers wouldn't know a good cup of coffee if it were splashed in their face (at room temperature, of course!). While I'm no coffee snob (at least I don't think I am) I know life is too short to drink Maxwell House or Folgers. Jacobs Kronung Instant is a good cup of coffee and well worth giving a try if you've been wasting your life on lesser coffees, or if you're just curious to try something new based on the review of a guy you don't know. If I tell you'll love it or I'll give you're money back you know that the anonymity of these reviews means that you'd never actually get me to reach into my own pocket to refund you but, nevertheless, you won't want a refund because you'll enjoy this instant coffee more than what you've been drinking. Buy it. Enjoy it. Thank me later.

My brother-in-law turned me on to this brand and flavor of instant coffee. Apparently Kronung is the "Goldilocks" roast-flavor of the three Jacobs instant coffees that I'm aware of. Cronat Gold is supposed to be milder and smoother in roast flavor, then Kronung is a well-rounded flavorful roast, and then there's Velvet for a bolder, richer roast flavor. I gotta tell you, this one's a keeper. It tastes better than most single-serve, k-cup style coffees that I've had. I've ended up relegating my Keurig to a "hot water" maker for this Jacobs Kronung instant coffee. When you first put it into the hot water, there's this creamy froth at the top of the mug that tells you right away this ain't your run-of-the-mill instant coffee. It's so yummy that I've gotten addicted to making coffee at home all over again! And from an INSTANT COFFEE, no less. Bet it'll beat the pants off of any of your regular brew coffees. Who knew???

This is my 2nd bottle !!!The flavor is bold and satisfying, catering to those who enjoy a robust cup of coffee. However, individual preferences for coffee strength may vary. The convenience factor and consistent taste make Jacob instant coffee a go-to choice for those seeking a reliable and efficient coffee option.

I bought this coffee as a less expensive alternative to Douwe-Egbert Pure Indulgence coffee which is my favorite, but my subscribe and save shipment was delayed, and a 1 time purchase was quite a bit more expensive. After drinking this coffee for a few weeks, here are my thoughts. 1. The Kronung has real kick to it. It is the strongest of the Jacob’s offerings in my area. With the strength comes a little extra bitterness which I don’t mind because I drink it over ice with oat milk and stevia. 2. I taste strong notes of chocolate and molasses in this coffee. If you like mocha flavored things, you might really like Kronung. 3. Dissolves better in hot water than cold. When I went to make an iced coffee the first time with this brand, it didn’t dissolve in the cold water I used, which wasn’t the case for me with Douwe-Egbert. I have since changed to dissolving it in a bit of hot water, and then adding cold oat milk and ice. Overall, I think that the Krunung is good for someone who likes strong coffee with bitter chocolate notes. For me it is a good backup coffee, but not my go to coffee in the morning.

The taste is so nice that I am planning to spend a little more for a coffee now.

Was first introduced to this brand in South Africa. Made a cup for my father and he said, this is probably the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had. He wouldn’t believe me when I told him it was instant. I had to make him a second cup while he watched to prove it

Cost effective and great tasty coffee

It's actually so good. I have done pour over and french press and espresso and stovetop and cold brew and auto drip, and I've used fresh ground, locally roasted and sourced beans, and my husband has even been to Africa and had coffee there. And we still revert back to this. We make iced coffees with it, so I'm not sure about drinking it black, and I saw another reviewer say it was a bit sweet and it is definitely on the sweeter, smoother side. However, I guess that's how I like it because this coffee is amazing to me. Easy 5 stars. As for the packaging, well, obviously that's going to depend on your local delivery driver and distribution center, no? So I have no comment on that (mine arrived packaged nicely, but that doesn't mean someone else's will) but the product itself is delightful.

While the price point is a consideration, the product offers a commendable flavor profile.
