Aquarium filters

This is a fantastic filter. We had an issue with our vacuum and things got icky in the tank for a bit. There was a visible difference overnight with this filter. I appreciate how easy it is to use - I tried a couple of other types. One required replacement filter cartridges regularly. Another had sponges that lifted off two spikes, which seemed like it would be easier, but the whole unit kept detaching when I tried to remove the sponges and I kept having to reset the whole thing, or parts would sink to the bottom of the tank. This one lets you leave the top part of the filter attached to the suction cups - you just twist the bottom section away from it to take it out of the tank and clean the sponges. Of course you also need an air pump to go with this. The lid to the compartment where the sponges are is tricky to remove, but I'm able to do it without a tool - I just approach it from the circle in the center and lift a little in every direction before it pops off (as opposed to prying it from the edges). The bubble spray is pretty powerful, and at first my fish avoided that area, but they got used to it quickly. It's very easy to see when it's time to clean the sponges (especially the yellow one), so it's a good visual reminder. I can't describe how happy I am to have an effective, easy filter. It's also priced really well compared to some of the other more complicated models. Glad to recommend it.

I love this filter. It’s very quiet, and it’s incredibly easy to assemble and clean. Despite its small size, it works surprisingly efficiently. I highly recommend it.

Filtration system we've had for our fish tank. Great price, easy to install, cleans tank magnificently and easy to reorder. Replacement filters. Perfect! Size for our tank, fits well and stays in place.

UPDATED REVIEW: Although I am still surprised how quickly one of my three filters stopped working, I am very impressed with how the company responded. A couple of days after submitting my review someone from the company reached out to me. He asked me a couple of general questions and then offered to either refund or replace my filter. I chose replacement because the remaining two filters run amazingly well. I received the replacement a couple of days later. After 24 hours in my tank, the water was crystal clear! I decided to wait several days before revising my review. The tank water, ...still crystal clear. Do I highly recommend this filter, YES, Absolutely! It works really well, easy to maintain, and it is very quiet. Why did I change my review from 3 Stars to 4 Stars , and not 5 Stars? Because the original filter did stop working after only a couple of months, so I feel like changing it to five stars would be ignoring that happening and thus would be dishonest. I bought tone of the February of this year (2025) and it worked amazinglywell. I decided to buy a second one in March, and a third in April. Two are in the same large tank, and one is in a 20 gallon. One of the larger filters stopped working. Im not sure, 8f it was the Feb, Mar, or April; but I am irritated by the fact that one has already stopped working. Does it do a great job keeping the tank clean, yes, but if it stops working at (worst case) 4 months, I feel like its a bit of a waste of money.

This little underwater pump/filter has some push to it ! For my 40 gallon and 50 gallon tank this was just what I needed. Just more push of the water and a filter that cleared the water up overnight. It has two different ways to push the water and can use both or just one way. I am really impressed. I don't know how long it will last but I will get back to you but for the price couldn't beat it.

When its working it works pretty good. I have sand substrate and this is horrible for that. The filter clogged within two days. So I have to keep cleaning it. The motor stopped a month I cleaned it and it started back up. But four months in and I have to get a new filter.

This filter is amazing! And I love that you can control where the flow goes! And material is amazing, and is cleaning my tank. It is very safe and fit my tank.

The flow rate was too high in my 45-gal tank, so I moved it to my 70-gal. I had 2 Marineland 200's in the tank. I left one 200, and replaced the other with this pump. The water flow is much better. Very quite. The filters were noticeably plugged after a week. Easy to clean but don't last very long before they have to be cleaned.
