Do these work on thin, fine hair?

I wouldn’t recommend these for fine hair. The surface of the rods are slightly sticky and easily damage fine, delicate hair.

How do these compare to the original hot sticks from the 80's?

I used them back in the 80s as well and I liked them then and these are the same. I get great spiral curls and my hair is long. Curls stay all day👍🏻😊

Do these fully heat up in 85 seconds? The listing here on the website says they do, but the directions with the product say 12 minutes.

Mine heat up in about 90 seconds to 120 seconds. You have to keep the lid on them while they are heating.
