Very compact, very good utility, excellent reputation in the EMS community
Giving 5* for time being. Made a test cut on some webbing very similar to seat belt webbing, and the device cuts well. Bear in mind you must hold the webbing tight as you pull the blade thru the webbing. Also, cut at an angle, approx. 45 degrees, instead of straight across. The most restraint webbing is woven this way for more strength, but makes cutting straight across more difficult. I have not tested the spring loaded punch on glass yet, but did test on a piece of aluminum plate and it put a good impression, so it should do well on tempered glass. Be advised that on LAMINATED glass, which is most windshields and SOME front door windows, neither this nor any other punch or small emergency hammer will work very well. It's not a fault of the device, but rather the multi-layer by design of the window. You basically have to cut your way thru laminated glass. As a former firefighter/ paramedic, this device was not around when I was in service. However, I read thru many fire rescue forums discussing this technology, and this Resqme escape tool is the device most of the current EMS/ Rescue personnel are giving their family members and putting in their personally owned vehicles, and this is the device I'm issuing to my family members. Final note- these come in various colors- get the light neon green color. A lot of the other colors will blend in or be hard to spot in many car interiors. You want something you can spot in an instant, because you may need to exit the car in a hurry. Absolutely do not get the black, as it will be very hard to find. If I were going to make any recommendation to the mfr, I'd ask them to make a neon green version using glow-in-the-dark plastic. Hope this helps someone on the edge of a decision. I know what a pain it is reading 50 reviews on competing products...

Good product is as advertised
By God's grace I have never needed a window breaker or seatbelt cutter. But this tool seems legit. It is good quality, feels solid, and it came with a clip ring and zip tie that made it easy to hang from my review mirror. I put the second one in my glove box. It to came with the supply to hang it. But if I hang it in the back one of the kids or dogs is gonna play with it and lose it. Great product I recommend

Peace of mind.
I like this product. It seems sturdy and functional. They did not come with instructions on how to get to the seat belt cutter. I had to watch a couple of buyer reviews to learn there is a piece you pull off. I like that it can go on the keychain, but it’s a bit heavy and bulky. Overall, I’m happy to be prepared for an emergency.

Great quality and peace of mind
I hope I never have to use it but u will say the quality is very good. The price is great as I would spend any amount for peace of mind. It’s very easy to find and the color is very bright.

Compact, Life-Saving Tool Every Car Should Have
he Resqme emergency keychain is small but incredibly practical. The 2-in-1 design — with a seatbelt cutter and window breaker — gives peace of mind knowing you have a tool that could make a real difference in an emergency. The bright safety yellow color makes it easy to spot, and the keychain design means it’s always within reach. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the spring-loaded window breaker works with minimal effort, while the blade is sharp enough to cut through a seatbelt quickly if needed. Having a pack of two is a great bonus — one for each car or to keep a spare in a bag. For anyone concerned about safety on the road, this is an essential, reliable, and easy-to-carry tool.

It works!!!
I never thought i would need it.... I bought several after my Sister and Brother in Law had a scary experience. They came upon a scene that a big camper had toppled over a ledge. The driver was suspended from his seat belt. but he couldnt unbuckle it. My brother in law crawled in and had to push him up so someone could get to the buckle. They finally got him out and gave the wife some shoes since hers had been tossed to the back when they wrecked. I gave them a set and then hung one in my car, per the instructions that came with the gadgets. I gave the other to my husband. Fast forward many months......And I DID need it. It worked like a charm!! My car flipped on its side after some falling wires grabbed the front corner and tossed the vehile in the air. It landed on the back passenger side corner and came to rest on the passenger side. Everything in the car was strewn all over, but my little resqume was right there, hanging from the rear view mirror. I was able to cut through my seat belt very easily and then I plopped right down! My sunroof was open so I didnt need to break a window. I crawled right out! The first responders were so impressed with it! Follow the instructions and hang it where you can get to it. My car gas a push button start, so putting them on the key ring wasn't wise. I recommend the rearview mirror or the headrest rod. I had gotten so used to seeing it, I forgot about it. but when I was suspended and thinking "what just happened and what do i do now?!" I saw the bright green miracle below me on the rear view mirror. AH HA!! After the EMT determined I was ok to cut my self down, it worked like a charm. He was really surprised 1-I had it and 2-how well it worked. I cant tell you how many people Ive sent the link to after hearing my story. Even the lady at the Insurance call center! Dont wait. order a bunch now.

Necessity!!!
While I have not had to use this tool (thankfully!!) I have one on every keychain I own. I think the quality is very good, high visibility plastic. There is no mistaking where this thing is on the keychain and very easy to find. I found the price to be very reasonable, as there are other brands charging upwards of $20 each!! I work in public safety and also have these on each of my department vehicle keychains in case a window ever needs to be broken to help someone else in need. Again, I have not had to utilize this tool and hope it will function properly should I ever need to use it but I do not have any doubts.
