does it swivel? can i tilt it 45 degrees?

It does not swivel. The light can be installed as shown (surface mount) or the outer metal ring can be removed and it can be installed in a properly-sized hole (flush mount). You would have to have a receptacle of some kind which swivels, to install this light so it would swivel. Probably not worth the effort - find a swivel light already built.

How far away have you installed these for undercab lighting? My cab person is recommending every 15 in but I think it's too close. Have 20" backsplash

Trust your cabinet person. 15" works well.

If i purchase 6 puck lights, will this work with the leviton 6674-p0w dimmer and armacost lighting 840240 transformer?

Thanks for your interest in Armacost Lighting. PureVue draws 4 watts at maximum brightness; so the 24W, 840240 produces enough wattage to power them. We cannot speak to other manufacturers switch products specifically, but do offer the following guidance - for optimal AC dimming performance, use a forward phase CL-style or equivalent dimmer. The use of reverse phase or ELV may degrade dimming performance.
