Assembled this in under an hour and it is very sturdy

It's just what we waited. A budget friendly, basic, plain bookshelf. Nothing fancy, but very functional. The shelf is basic, no lower cut out to go around baseboards, for example. No adjustable shelf heights, but it fits perfect in the space we planned for it. The shelf is assembled in two sections, and doesn't really have a set top or bottom. While it lacks any special features, it does have all the hardware needed to secure it to the way, which is a big plus! The way it is constructed also gives small handholds on each side for carrying, which was phenomenal help when bringing it into the proper room.

Good basic bookshelf. Nothing to really complain about for the price. If you’re looking for a functional bookshelf for a kids room this is perfect. It comes disassembled and was very straightforward to assemble. I have a lot of practice with Ike’s builds so this was a breeze for me. The height is made up of two sections so there is a seam on the side. Shelves are fixed and screw in from the outside of the side, leaving screws exposed. It comes with white stickers to cover the screws up- functional but they’re a bit whiter than the bookshelf and not as nice quality as plastic plugs. It’s a great size for young reader books and little odds and ends that my daughters accumulate and want to display. I would not use this for anything heavy. I added feet to mine to make it a bit more classy and to match the style of a bunk bed in the same room.

I bought this for a pop of color in our guest room. The bookcase was delivered timely and well packaged. The directions were very easy to follow and it took around 30 minutes to assemble. It's slender but tall so if it's on carpet, I definitely recommend using the wall mounts. With 6 total shelves, it holds a great amount of books. Definitely recommend!

I am giving this 5 stars because "it is what it is" meaning you get what you pay for. That said, I will say that it was reasonably easy to put together. I did glue my dowels into the shelves before putting it together to help with shifting over time. This shelf was for my craft room, so I additionally bolted it onto a 24" x 18" wheeled solid surface flat dolly. The part that remains to be seen if it will hold up over time is that you put the thing together in two sections. A bottom section and an upper section, and then the two sections are attached with 2 dowels and 2 lock bolts on each side. I am leary of that.... I was not expecting that but I guess it saves on shipping cost and materials. It is also quite thin and has no raised base so it will always have a stability issue. They DO give you a wall bracket, and if you get this for yourself and plan to use it in a normal living situation. USE the wall bracket. This shelf will not be safe without it.
