Nice quality! It has a smokey smell which some may find strong, but I find endearing to the instrument. I got both reeds to work within an hour or so of practicing. Honestly over the moon happy with this instrument!!

Here are photos of how the reeds for this "duduk" looked when I opened the package. Note how one is completely sealed shut, and the other is wide open. The pitch regulators (also pictured- the circular rings around the reed) are oversized and loose, so they are unable to control the wideness of the reeds, change the airflow, or tune the duduk. The effect of these reeds being such poor quality? The instrument is worthless. It is a pretty decoration, nothing more.

Not a bad duduk. Great for a begginer. The reeds might be a bit offat first, but they can be worked with. I would suggest that a purchase of semi-professional reeds would improve it. This same seller offers a set of three. Both are worth buying.

Although it was a little long for the package to arrive because of the destination, it was totally worth the wait. Beautiful instruments (also smell delicious!), good sound, great quality. Whenever I had questions about the status of the delivery, the seller always answered quickly and very gently.

I’m a multi instrumentalist, of all the tools I have in my studio this is the first and only one that I find myself just playing to pass the time, the tone is rich- it reminds me of a very mellow sax, I have no clue what a professional variant sounds like or how it differs- but this suited the purpose I bought it for wonderfully and I have a hunch I will be sneaking it in to future projects I work on. Incredibly well packaged and shipped faster than the date originally given. I love it.

I got this for my boyfriend, a professional musician who plays a lot of different flutes and wind instruments. Unfortunately the tuning on the duduk we received wasn't correct, as shown in the accompanying papers, so he can't use it as it is. Handcraftoria are being very helpful in trying to get us a correctly tuned replacement so it's great to know we bought this from a company that is prepared to try hard to help out when the product is faulty. It may take a while to get a new instrument from Armenia but as long as we end up with one that is properly tuned we'll be happy!

Good packaged but is very dificult to play, I need to blow very strong for make it sound

I destroyed the first reed since I've never played any wind instrument before, but thankfully they gave two reeds so I was able to keep learning and playing. Enjoying the sound right now.
