As a carpet fitter myself i was looking for a good quality seaming tape, I’d tried all other brands including the gold line tape but this leaves a much better finish by far, one thing i would mention is the seaming iron needs to be turned up slightly higher on the temperature knob to glide through easier as the glue seems thick. I’d also note that when the seam is dry it leaves no hard lumps which I’ve experienced with so many other tapes. Great product!

I recently purchased the CCA carpet join tape, and while I haven’t been able to use it yet, it looks like really good quality. The material feels strong and well-made, definitely professional-grade. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize it requires a special machine (like a carpet seaming iron) to use properly, which I don’t have. So I wasn’t able to apply it as intended. That’s my mistake, not the product’s fault. If you have the right equipment, I’m sure this tape would work very well. It seems reliable and durable — I just recommend checking what tools you need before buying.

Used to stick carpet together to form a bespoke mat for the motorhome from spare carpet. Worked well. Mat edges whipped and looks a professional job.
