Do I still need to charge for 8 hours if it arrives fully charged ?

No. If it arrives with the display indicating that the shaver is fully charged then there’s no reason to charge it. A lot of manufacturers will partially charge item’s before shipping because fully charging it may be a waste of time and money for them as items may not sell for months and depending how they’ve been stored the battery will discharge over time, hence why they advise charging it on purchase. However, if the battery is showing full charge there is no need to charge it. Hope that helps.
