Lovely kettle but more gold looking than the image which was ok but would have preferred it to be more like the photo , also came with a continental plug which was a bit of a faff to convert to UK plug. That aside I am satisfied with the purchase.

Only just opened the product and the water tasted funny so I used several things to try and resolve and then spoke with Smeg who had advised the model number is incorrect and fake

Stinking EU plug. Really Amazon. Try a bit harder and for the money should be UK. Comes with a UK plug protector on though - whats that all about? They already know it's the wrong, a con job. Get a grip. Got to chop it off now and void my warranty. But shiny.
