Essie expressie, Quick-Dry Nail Polish, 8-Free Vegan, Nude Pink, Checked In, 0.33 fl oz

I ordered the colour "Checked In". It is an amazing colour! I did not apply any top or base coats as I wanted to follow the description saying it didn't need any. I had filed the top of my nails a very little bit gently, also using an alcohol wipe to clean my nails before applying it. The application of the polish was very quick, easy & smooth. I only needed to apply 1 thin coat for a nice coverage, but did 2 just because. It dried really quick too. It was completely dry within a minute. The last picture is on day 3 wearing the polish alone. You can see there is chipping and wearing away at the very end of the nail. I'm a mom of 3 boys that are young (6, 3 & 1 years old) so my hands & nails go through a lot every day. So I'm happy it did last as long as it did. I was hoping for a little longer but am still happy. In the end this is a really nice polish and will definitely wear it again but for short periods of time!

It dries fast but, doesn’t dry very shiny. It has a matt finish. Color is darker than advertised.

Lovely color. Goes on smoothly

This color is “Checked In” - it’s a muted, sandy pink with the Good to Go topcoat. All my Essie bottles were drying up from never being used (and nail salons are still closed), so I decided it was time for a fresh shade. Unless I get them done, my nails usually aren’t painted. I’m just too much of a spaz that the polish usually gets bumped before it dries and I just give up and remove it all. I’m utterly impressed by the Essie Expressie polish. It literally was dried and set within 10 minutes at the most. I sat down while watching TV to do a “practice” round and it turned out amazingly, dried (I used the Good to Go topcoat), and I was fine to do other things almost right away. It genuinely feels like I’ve overcome my inability to have my manicured nails due to the endless amount of drying time. I didn’t notice any difference in the shape of the brush, however the polish still went on very easily and two coats was more than enough. I absolutely love the color... it will definitely be my go-to for summer.
