Works great, with some limitations.
This device for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is actually genius. Just another screen that you can apply to your windshield or dash to navigate where you're going, without having to look down at your phone. For starters, I got the device because I was taking some friends home, and I forgot the way to his house, so I used my phone. As I was typing his address on my phone, I casually run a red light, going 30 on a decently busy street. So I bought this device after I got home. At the time, I had a OnePlus 8 5G, which at the time of writing this review, is a 3 year old phone. Multiple times during my drive, it would just disconnect from the device itself, with the only way to get it working again, is to unplug its power source from the car. The same day as I'm writing this review, I had bought a new-to-me Pixel 6 Pro, which keep in mind, is only 2 years old (at the time of writing this review). Once I got it fully setup to where all my apps are there, I went on a 40 minute drive around my city, just wondering if while I'm driving, if it'll disconnect. Conclusion on the drive: There was 1 audio hiccup that it had, but corrected itself basically immediately. There were no disconnections at all on the drive that I had, which was fantastic. Nothing is scary than driving on the highway, with your audio disconnecting and you having to unplug it and plug it back in. Another minor limitation is sometimes the mic on the device will struggle to pick up your voice with the AC on. It might just be how I have it setup. Overall, depending on how new your phone is, you will experience disconnections, as I have had with my OnePlus, with no apparent reason as to why it disconnects. For $100 and easy to setup process, I am no longer disappointed.

overall very good; sound could be better
Delivery was fast; took me a bit to get to play with this after Christmas. First impression - decent unit for the price; I needed mainly to use with CarPlay navigation - in this regard works great - the large screen shows a lot of a map as compared to iPhone screen. Sound is very tinny coming from the built in speakers, and FM radio solution produces a LOT of static and is very low. Have to turn the sound up almost to the max, so prepare to go deaf when you turn your regular radio next. So, not so good in that regard. Also noticed that if you cover the built in speakers (with tape or any other way), static seems to go down, but still quite audible. My car does not have AUX input, so I was not able to test that solution. Mounting the unit on the dashboard took a little figuring out, but it was mainly due to design of my car and not the unit itself. It comes with a plastic circle with a tape that you are supposed to glue to the dashboard and then use built-in suction cup. Suction cup right out of the box has some sticky residue on it and that provides additional adherence. Must say, quite strong, because I tried to stick it to the circle before sticking it to the dashboard and almost could not remove it afterwards. Definitely need to carefully plan WHERE you want to place it, because once in place removal is hard. I ended up not using extra circle, because the spot on the dashboard I ended up placing it at is rather smooth and suction (so far) works very well. Overall, for the price, I am happy with it

Functions fine, but I didn't like few other things
So as far as the device displaying Android Auto wirelessly, it worked fine. I didn't try CarPlay. The speaker was loud enough I thought, but I didn't catch in the description that audio output is only through aux and FM transmitter. These things usually transmit audio with bluetooth so that car audio system can be used w/o aux cable, but not this one. It does not use standard USB port for the power, so I will have to use the power adapter that it came with which is big and bulky with long wires. I was hoping I would be able to just mount this to my phone mount arm, but the ball is located at the device side (not on the arm side), so that I could not attach this to my phone mount arm. I've only tested for maybe 30 minutes and I noticed that the back of this device is already really hot. If you plan to use it the way it comes and you don't mind not transmitting audio through bluetooth, then I think this is a pretty good device. But for me, the issues I mentioned above a re big issues that I'm going to have to return this device.

It works perfectly for Android Auto. For Apple Car-play, it works only as screen mirroring (need to rotate the phone for have full screen)

I have an older model car that does not have android auto. It was very easy to set up and works very well. There are some glitches at times when connected via bluetooth but nothing major. I highly recommend this product. It plays very well through my car radio but the product has its own speakers as well.
