Installed it to use the original usb port with an aftermarket JVC CarPlay unit

Installed an aftermarket radio and used this to adapt the included USB from the aftermarket to my car's OEM USB. It allowed the OEM to work. I installed a teyes cc3 2k unit into a 2014 Honda cr-z.

At first I bought this because it looked similar to wires that were applicable to my 2012 Scion tc, but was surprised that it actually work. It can ise the original USB of the car, and was applicable to the Scion tc.

Works perfectly rerouted factory Honda usb in center console to after market stereo. Tried other brands that did not work this one does.

This adapter allowed me to retain the factory USB port on my 2012 Honda Fit while installing an aftermarket stereo. It adapted the Honda USB connector to standard USB. If your new stereo only has USB-C, then use standard USB-C to A adapter in conjunction with this cable to retain the factory USB port.
