Good quality Bible for a reasonable price! If you want an easy-to-carry Bible that feels pleasant in your hands and looks great, consider this one. Though published under Zondervan's "Zonderkidz" imprint, this is an excellent book of scriptures and helpful features for all ages. It takes up little space in a suitcase, bag, or purse; tuck it easily under your arm and bring it with you to church. The font size may be a little small, but it's neat and plenty readable. This Bible is a blessing for one's quiet time with God. Makes the perfect gift for a child, teenager, or adult- or for yourself. FEATURES: Words of Christ in red Table of weights and measures (a shekel is the approximate equivalent of 2/5 of an ounce; a cubit is about 18 inches; etc.) Inspiring list of God's promises in scripture (for when you feel afraid, are grieving, etc.) Collection of "perspectives from the Bible", when you need specific encouragement and instruction regarding temptation, faith, unity, and more Index of prayers from the Old and New Testaments Event chronology of the ministry of Jesus Index of the parables of Jesus Lists of "miracles of the Old Testament" and "miracles of Jesus"

Pros: -cute as heck -flexible spine stays open Cons: -highlighters bleed, but what Bible didn’t bleed? -no margins for notes? Not a con for me but worth noting. Overall: I bought this to bring on a mission trip to Haiti. I didn’t want to bring my special leather Bible for weight purposes and also it’s too special. A lot of low star reviews claim this is for “kids” but literally it’s a normal NIV Bible? I see nothing childish about it unless you’re anti glitter? It’s size is great. I’m bringing some 4x6 photos with me to Haiti of friends from church (pictured) for size reference along with my hand. It’s a Bible and it does it’s job. I love it and would always recommend this as a cute lil Bible for anyone! Happy bible shopping!

Although it says it's a "kids" bible it's not only for kids. I got this bible for myself and I really like the color, size, and font. I was looking for a small bible to keep on my nightstand near my bed for reading. My other bible is pretty heavy so this is lightweight. I think anyone who purchases this as a gift or for oneself will be very happy. One thing, the font might be too small for elderly people. I showed it to my mom (71) and she said it was small for her liking. For me its great I have no problem with it.

I'm heading on a mission trip to Honduras this week and my current Bible is a study bible and very large and heavy. I wanted to get something more compact and flexible for my trip. This is perfect. Not only is it a good size, but it's flexible, has the red writing for when Jesus is speaking, a ribbon bookmark to keep my place, and it's super cute with some sparkle on the dark teal lines! Happy with this purchase!

We needed a small bible for our 5 year old daughter to take to church and this is perfect. Though it is small, the font is still very easy to read. The flexcover is what you would typically expect with a bible and feels like it will be able to withstand being handled by a small child.

I shopped around for a more feminine looking Bible and ultimately decided on this one because of its smaller size and simple format. I love the color and design, however I am disappointed it says ‘kidz Bible’, as this is advertised for all ages... thus the reason for 4 stars. I may see if I can find a marker in a similar color to fill it in. (The smudge above the hearts on the back was my doing... it did not arrive that way)

It is a good size and feels good in your hands. The print (font) is too small for me, but I was buying this as a gift for young folks with better eyesight than mine, so that was ok. I was disappointed to read that the targeted age group was 6-10, since I really intended this to be a high school graduation gift, but by removing the cardboard cover and just giving the book, I got rid of the age range information.

Great Christmas present for my 11 year old. She loved the size cause it fits in her backpack or purse. The leather cover is sturdy and very good quality. My husband was very impressed with the workmanship! NIV is a wonderful version for new Christians just starting with their own personal Bible studies. It doesn't use old English, but it's not overly simplistic or modern slang either.

I bought this for my daughter's baptism. It is NIV and has neat sections geared towards 12-16. It also has conversation starters for girls to ask their friends or parents. Highly recommend.

Having seen the NIV version of this in the States! I ordered the KJV for myself when I returned home. Light and compact, it fitted nicely in my bag, and the funky cover meant that it looked more like a cool notebook. As soon as my teen daughter saw it, she had to have it, so now I need to order another one. Great choice of covers..... Now my son wants one too!

I am very happy with my bible. It has a trendy turquoise & gold soft cover that is light and easy to carry and also has text which is easy to read. I dip in to it whenever I feel the need to. I can recommend it.

Great conversation starter in Church and good fun for travellers and young people. A bit of a strain for my aged eyes tho' But I have used it in meetings a few times and not struggled too much x
