I have used this product before, that's why I purchased it again. This is a product that Veteran's Administrative Hospitals use in their Wound Care Clinics. If anyone knows anything about wound care, it would be the military. This is an excellent cleansing product for both small scrapes and very deep wounds, no rinsing is required. There will be no irritation of the wound or surrounding tissue/skin; no burning or stinging. I had a 2.25 inch deep, 4 inch long, and 1 inch wide laceration and Carra-Klenz caused me no extra pain at all. Plus, even though I had just come out of surgery where they cut staph infected tissue out of this laceration, once they began cleaning every day with Carra-Klenz before repacking it, I never became re-infected again. (initial infection was in a civilian hospital) If you have children, BUY THIS! I used this on my son repeatedly for abrasions and lacerations as is a BMX biker, and a fixed gear biker. He used to fight with me on cleaning his wounds for the amount of pain soap and water caused him, now he does his own 1st Aid. Carra-Klenz is something that I recommend be part of everyone's 1st Aid kit, right along with Tecnu First Aid Antiseptic & Pain Relieving Gel. (I was a Girl Scout Leader, a Den Leader, Asst Scoutmaster, Camp Commissioner, and Outpost Director; I frequently volunteered for 1st Aid positions as I was trained and qualified for this as well)

Carra Klenz has served us well for probably 10 years. We use it for cuts, scratches, insect bites, etc.
