Fuller Brush 17029 Electrostatic Carpet and Floor Sweeper (Fresh Mint)

Great manual machine! There's nothing like it when it comes to versatility & value. It is ideal for EVERY DAY use and especially hair removal (pet & people). It picks up sand and debris as well as fur. If you have long hair like me, check the bristle roller more often. It's so easy to clean when you don't let it build up too long. Most of it ends up sucked into the bin portion anyways. A perfect design, the comb is always there, so you don't have to touch what might get temporary tangled. The bin portion is quite small, ideal for fitting under small narrow tables. The bin holds a surprising amount and the small size doesn't tempt you to overfill. The bin is easy to empty, not too messy dumping. It works equally well on hard floor or carpet, wool rug acrylic rug, cotton rug. It's equally great for washable rugs as I remember it being for commercial indoor carpet (which is A MUST). It seems at first like the handle might be on the short side, but it's comfortable to roll back and forth as well as rolling under low profile furniture. The handle arrived defective & they immediately sent a replacement. In the past I have tried cheap plastic types and, you get what you pay for. This one will last for years, likely longer than your vacuum cleaner.

I purchased a very large washable area rug which I was excited about until I realized my normal Dyson vacuum literally tries to eat the rug and it’s impossible to vacuum. I initially ordered a cheaper different brand floor sweeper to see how it would do and the concept worked well but I noticed that it didn’t do a great job of picking up everything and picking up a 10x12 rug to shake it out is just not an option. Between dogs and little ones, I typically vacuum twice a day. When I say this sweeper does as good a job as my Dyson Animal, I am not exaggerating! At first, I was just using this on my area rugs and kids’ play rug but I find myself using this as my daily go-to between rugs, tile, and hardwood flooring and then just vacuuming the rest of the house once a week to get to baseboards and stairs. Bonus that it’s so lightweight and easy to maneuver. Unlike other sweepers, you do not need to apply pressure or go over a spot a million times. It picks up dog hair (I have a border collie, this is always a huge concern), dirt, crumbs, and debris with no effort and does not leave anything behind. It’s easy to empty and hangs very neatly and out of the way in a hall closet. I’m 5’1”, my husband is 6’ and neither of us have any issues with the handle length being too short or feeling awkward using this. My 4 year old even enjoys helping clean using this sweeper so safe to safe it’s extremely durable and has been thrown and dropped many times lol. I actually plan on giving this exact item as a housewarming gift along with other cleaning supplies moving forward to anyone I know moving to a new place. Don’t let the price deter you, the cheaper options simply do not compare. This is the best cleaning item I would never have thought to purchase.

Ah, I remember owning one of these Fuller Brush electrostatic sweepers (no plug-in, no battery) straight out of college, when I moved into a small studio apartment. The sweeper was pretty good, with the head small enough to get into tight places and the handle capable of lying flat on the floor so you could sweep under beds and couches. My Fuller Brush sweeper mysteriously disappeared when I moved, so I was delighted to see that they were still selling this handy little device. My new Fuller Brush sweeper works just as good as my first one. It’s my current choice when sweeping tile and low-pile rugs—easy to get out, easy to use, easy to put away. I do pull out my big vacuum, every now and then, to do a deep vacuuming of the house because I’m a neatnik, but my Fuller Brush sweeper is good for ordinary cleaning days.

This thing is amazing and totally worth the cost over cheaper options. Picks up fine particles like clay cat litter off of rugs (and hardwood floors but not as well as rugs). I have a black rug in the living room and pulling this out to go over it is WAY easier than lugging out a vacuum every day. It also picks up cat hair off the rug and other debris. It's very easy to empty. It's light weight and easy to use.

Wonderful product backed up by a great name in cleaning supplies. I purchased a Fuller Electrostatic Carpet and floor sweeper. It's the perfect size for spot cleaning throughout the week. It's always at the ready. I instinctively grab the Fuller rather than drag out the heavy vacuum, but to be fair, there's a time and place for both tools. I'm 77 years old, and I can remember my mother having a sweeper such as this. I loved operating it. Of course, my mother encouraged me as she sipped another cup of coffee and praising my workmanship. Now I'm taking care of my wife who has Alzheimer's, and we do the housework together. I am her fulltime caregiver. The Fuller is a perfect tool for her. We use it every day. The house has never been cleaner. It is just the right size for getting and under furniture. I remember my mother's mechanical sweeper which seemed much larger than this Fuller, but then again, I was a lot smaller when I was child. Bottom line, this one is just the right size (9 inches wide makes it more maneuverable), light as a feather, and quality built. I opened the box, and in less than 4 minutes, I had the handle assembled and attached to the sweeper. Super easy to empty the collection trays, and I like that there are replacement parts available, like the brush roller. The Fuller Floor and Carpet Sweeper comes in colors! I bought a Ferrari-Red one, quality fit and finish just like a sportscar.

Growing up I remember the carpet sweeper we had in our house. It was heavy, made of metal, had several height settings, and was a workhorse of a device. This Fuller brush carpet sweeper is so not that. It’s like 9” wide, not very sturdy, and feels small, weak, and fragile. It does sweep the carpet fairly well, but is nothing like the one of my childhood (which was likely not a fuller brush brand sweeper). It works ok on larger floor debris, but it leaves behind the smaller dirt “particles” that could still be felt on the area rug when walking with bare feet. Also the $70+ dollars we spent on this seems a bit pricey for what you get. Would I recommend? No. You might want to try a cheaper brand first to see how they work for you. You could buy at least 2-3 other cheap brands to compare for the price of the Fuller Brush sweeper. Does it work? Kind of. Good enough for what we need, but I’m betting a cheaper brand would work just as well. Would I buy it again? No.

This thing is amazing! I have hard floors, area rugs, and carpet, and it picks up everything with very little effort. It glides smoothly across all surfaces and is surprisingly effective at grabbing dust, pet hair, crumbs, and debris. It’s lightweight, easy to push, and empties quickly without making a mess. I was skeptical at first, but it works far better than I expected. Great quality, excellent value, and very convenient for quick cleanups between vacuuming. I would definitely recommend it and would absolutely buy it again!

Excellent for hair, dust bunnies, and lint on my low-pile rugs (I don’t have carpet). Maybe 75% as good as a broom on hardwood floor and tile, but still gets an A for convenience and versatility (excellent for dust under furniture). Handle isn’t great, it’s always trying to unscrew itself, but hoping to replace that with a wooden pole soon. Easy to empty. Easy to clean. Easy to repair. Parts are available. You understand the whole contraption just by looking at it. Feels like it’ll last forever. Quiet, quick, convenient, low-tech. Love it. I’m 100% satisfied and happy for every penny I spent on it.

This sweeper is a true beauty that really works due to its long corner brushes. Works on all kinds of floors. Love it. Just one draw with this particular white item: assembling the sticks was difficult because the screw on part of some of the parts had too much paint on it, so I could not attach them fully (a gap was left). I finally solved this by changing the order of the sticks many times until I found the best fit and using some oil to lubricate the screw on parts.

Hi Everyone! This sweeper has its place in every home! I have long been researching options to pick up dust/fluff, hair etc. quickly, I think I did a great job comparing Bissell vs other NoName Sweepers on our market ( Switzerland, Europe). I did not buy for a year to collect more data, watched countless videos and reviews. No, this is not a sponsored/infuenced review. This is my honest opinion. I contacted Fuller if they can send it to us to Switzerland, but there was no way. So I ordered it here to a delivery address to Germany. Yesterday I got it and could not wait to see if it collects my long blond hair, my husbands fluff , dog hair etc. THIS SWEEPER DOES AN AMAZING JOB! I went through hard floor, and hard wood floor plus carpets. All surfaces clean! I was really shocked how much fluff was collected off the "seemingly" clean carpet. Wow! The best that this even cleans up the in-between places at the junctions of carpet and hard floor where Bissell was not great at all. Top top top or as we say here, tip top! I was looking for a solution to collect fluff quickly and quietly, and this is the best I found. Amazingly smooth and makes no noise compared to a hand vacuum. The sweeper house is sturdy, even if it bumps into a harder surface - eg. wall, table - it does no harm. Most importantly, it will not damage more expensive rugs. Of course, this is not for deep cleaning and will not replace regular vacuuming, but for everyday I found the solution I wanted! Super solution for families with pets, or anyone where hair on floor is an issue and you wish to have a tidy home all the time! I hope you found value in my review, and wish you all well!

It's quiet, cleans thoroughly, empties very easily and is extremely light. It makes sweeping an enjoyable experience.
