6 Pack DC 1.5-3V 15000RPM Mini Electric Motor for DIY Toys, Science Experiments

I used these to fix a set of toys for a family member. The Thomas the Tank Engine Trackmaster (early era, at least) toys happen to use this exact motor, so it's an easy replacement with some simple soldering. The motor for the toys seems to have died completely, so swapping in one of these worked very well. I would recommend getting a battery terminal to verify the functionality of the motors before putting them in whatever project. While all of mine worked, I wouldn't be surprised (based on the other reviews on this listing) if some didn't work.

I had to replace a motor with the exact same dimensions. These motors are great You're going to get a bum one or two that doesn't work but if you just need a motor or two this is a great way to buy them because one of them will come out amazing. Replaced it in an old 1980s pneumatic toy. If you don't find the exact motor you're looking for keep looking around because I believe this manufacturer has got a few different styles

I used this motor to replace one That had burnt out in the rear axle of a rock crawler toy I bought on Amazon. With a screwdriver and some solder I Now have a working rock crawler again. My son and daughter have the exact same rock crawlers. And I expect the same issue down the road. With a six pack of new motors we will be running for a long time.

It was the closest replacement I could find for a whiskey smoker I had that broke, the body was slightly different but everything else matched up. The issue I had was when 3v is applied with the load of the impeller it almost sounds like the motor is starting to burn out. It starts fast and then gradually slows while running. Cheapo replacement but at least i can trash 6 before I have to look for a replacement

These things lost a star because the leads come off very easily and there really is no way to put them back on. They regained a star for durability. I had to run them at 20 volts and 2 amps for 1 and a half hours at a science fair. It did just fine. One of my other motors died because it was left unattended and school while little kids were around (I was a chaperone making an example project) and one of the kids turned it on and my project fell over. The motor was unable to move with around 4.5 volts going through it. It sat like that for around 2 hours (I was attending a different class). When I came back the motor had gotten so hot that it had melted the hot glue holding it on and the wire that was connected to it. The motor was permanetley seized.

I bought this to fix my old Disneyland Train Set that I got for Christmas in 1986. After sitting in attics for 3 decades, when I got it out the motor was completely fried. I took it to a few local hobby shops and found out that hobby shops now just want to sell throwaway RC cars and Drones and have no interest in doing repairs or selling parts. So I searched on Amazon for a replacement and found these. This motor was an identical fit, except for the cap color it looked identical to the original. The train has been running great now and my 3 year-old loves it.

Product arrived on time, and packaged well with no shipping damage. These appear to be your basic 1.5 to 3.0 volt electric hobby motor. Each motors spindle spun easily; No corrosion was noted, and soldering area for the wiring attachments were fine. They are decent product for the money. I build equipment used in paranormal investigations and have been purchasing small handheld fans and children's toy cars at the local dollar store to harvest these from, and I'd say the motors appear identical.
