Wow
I have built in the region of 30 kits since I got back into the hobby and this is without question the finest model I have made. Unfortuantely I think my painting of ot did not do it justice ( I need a new airbrush) There were so many instances when building this kit that I thought wow that's clever, or that the fit was unbelievable good. There is nothing to find fault with. Tamiya provide weights so that the model balances when the undercarriage is deployed and also masking templates for the cockpit - whilst I found these a pain to apply the results were worth the effort.

Amazingly engineered kit
Haven't built it yet but first look at the kit shows amazing detail and engineering for the parts, The usual Tamiya excellence. It's a bit pricey for a 1/48 scale kit and As with every kit I've bought from Amazon EU it took longer than predicted to arrive.

Meiner Meinung nach der beste P 38 Bausatz überhaupt. Der typische Tamiya-Bausatz,sehr präzise,gut detailliert,1A passgenauigkeit,schöne und gut ausgewählte Decals.Dank der guten Passgenauigkeit durchaus eine Option für Einsteiger.

Niet ingepakt. Doos beschadigd. Niet een plasticje erom heen. Gewoon adressticker op bouwdoos geplakt. Nog nooit meegemaakt
