What drew me to this game was the foil monopoly money. Come to find out there is also a foil monopoly M on the back of the gameboard. The white strip on the box and the main gameboard center area have hidden monopoly symbols. All the token pieces are hollow except the dino and penguin.

I think it is a great version of monopoly. I looked at the pictures before I ordered and it looked gorgeous. The only reason it’s 4 stars is when I got it didn’t have the nice clear house/hotels, didn’t have the nice glossy money, didn’t have red pieces like in the pictures. I could have read it wrong or ordered the wrong one, but I just looked at the pictures and assumed, my fault. Not a huge deal, but I would have liked to see that in the box. It kinda made up for it with a GORGEOUS black game board. That thing looks REAL nice.

All of the things that make this version stand out as unique have been removed from what is being shipped and it no longer matches the listing. The tokens and money are ordinary. The houses and hotels are made of wood. I didn't bother unwrapping the board because there is not enough about this version that stands out for me to keep it. I'll be returning it.

Wow, classic, quality, value. This is everyone's favorite original monopoly, remade with a practical yet stunning box, quality pieces, and a few small additions. The cards and board are a bit smaller than the original, and there are a few more pieces than in the original (like a dinosaur), they are red metal. The dice are red and black. The houses/hotels are semi transparent plastic. This is totally giftable, I wish I would have gotten it as a gift. ;) Enjoy!

Nice enough Monopoly game, but I'm not totally convinced that it's worth the $80+ CAD that I paid for it. I bought it based upon the pitch that the tokens were red enamel; perhaps not the best reason to shell out that kind of money..but it got me to order it. These are just the regular Monopoly tokens with a healthy paint job; different...cute..but again..I'm not sure that's a good enough reason to pay this kind of money. The game itself is heavy; heavier than one would expect for that size game box..so it's built well. Order it..don't order it...
