I put this in like 13 hours ago. My wife couldn't wait to try it. Even the steam from the shower smells better. He skin actually looked better too. Maybe that's just me, but she was happy. It's supposed to help with dry skin and itchy scalp. So we'll see how that goes long-term. NOTE: the directions warn you of this, and I will too ... when you run water through it the first time, there is some black that comes out. It's normal, and lasts about 4 seconds. Also, I like that I can replace the cartridge, not just toss it in the landfill when I need a new filter.

I bought this filter in 2023 and it just broke this week. Not bad. Somehow the pressure was too much and it cracked the piece that the filter was in.

I installed a new shower head and decided to add this water softener gadget. Very easy to install. I could feel a difference in my skin and hair immediately after the first shower. How did I live without this? Great little gadget. It has been installed for 2 weeks and I have no negative comments to add.

The filter works as intended. I don't know about all the companies claims that was made about it but I didn't think it would be bad to have. I got this filter in the bundle with the shower head. It was a lot bigger than I expected but it screwed on with no problem. Took only a minute to put it on. After getting the shower head on and turning on the water, the water was black but it soon cleared after running for a minute (as indicated by the instructions). Haven't had any black water since. I will check the filter before my return window closes to see what it filters out in determining if I want to keep it. If I do keep it, ill replace the filter in 6 months and see what else it catches. ***UPDATE*** It's been a few months and the water pressure got really low. After one change, I could no longer open the filter so I removed it completely. I still like the shower head but I just can't open the filter anymore. From 5 stars to 3 stars.

Leaks out a bit but nothing to worry about. Hair has been much less frizzy since I've used this.

My back has always been itchy. I have back scratchers everywhere. I even have one at my desk at work. Since I have using this filter, I barely use any of my back scratchers. I also use less hair product when washing and conditioning. Also there used to be a red ring around my drain that has now disappeared. I have suggested this filter to two of my friends and it has changed their lives.
