The only negative point is if you're using a knife to cut food on the plate, it gets scratched all over it, as you can see on the grren plate. Plus, if you're eating anything greasy, they can be hard to get really clean Apart from the scratches I think these are very good value and they've saved me money as I don't need to buy any more tea sets.
