DEERC 9500E 1:16 Scale All Terrain RC Car, 4x4 High Speed 40 KPH RC Truck

We have three of these, one for me and one for each kid. We have beat the snot out of these things the past year and they keep on ticking. I love the ability to control speed on the remote, makes it good for someone starting. The clincher when buying was the linear throttle and steering. It’s not an on/off digital switch. Batteries last a good 10-15 minutes and you get two per car which is great. Would buy again and again. We painted the roll cages and wings (which you can detach) different colors so we could tell whose truck is whose.

My 5 year old son loves it!! I had alot of fun driving it too. Out of the box the batteries need charged, about 2 hrs each. We took it to a big parking lot and ran it for 40-45 mins before the first battery died. It's super quick, in the video the speed trim is set all the way up. My son like to run it down low...easier to control it. The body is a little flimsy, but the overall structure and frame seem to be fairly sturdy. We plan to make some dirt jumps to get some air. Gets thru the grass no problem. Overall, great rc car. Very satisfied with the purchase. Thinking about buying one for myself so we can race!

Great little truck for the price. Has held Up great and been a ton of fun. Pretty fast. Good for kids since it has a speed adjustment on the controller. Battery life is good. The controller was the only part we had issues with, the steering wheel spring broke inside so it doesn’t come back to center.

I was massively disheartened when I was looking at all the brick and motar stores like Wal-Mart and Target and saw that all they sell is absolute crap RC cars that have digital throttle and even steering controls with absolutely no power or speed. Yet you could pay well over $50 for these pieces of junk. I grew up in the days of Tyco and Nikko RC cars. No, they were not hobby cars but they were relatively fast and powerful for the money. I thought those days were gone until my son asked me for an absolute piece of crap RC car that is controlled by hand motions. I was then determined to find a good RC car for my son. I ended up running across DEERC cars here on Amazon and looked a few of them up on You Tube. I ordered it and gave it to my son for his birthday. We took it out and he thought it was cool and played with it like twice. While he was gone I took out for a full spin and I absolutely love it! It's better than my Nikko Turbo Hopper that I had back in the day! If you are looking for a RC car for your kid or even yourself that isn't Walmart junk but also isn't a $200+ hobby car, this is it! It has full analog throttle and steering, great speed and power to effortlessly go through dirt and grass, and even has a steering centering calibration knob right on the controller along with a top speed adjustment knob to limit the car's speed if your kid can't quit handle it yet. I love this thing so much that I won't even be upset if my son never touches it again, because I'll happily play with it!

This car drives good. I really like the proportional steering and motors. It feels like the car would be fair durable against impacts and minor drops. The problem is that I've already had to fix one of the motors three times in the first 1 hour of use. First one of the wires had a solder connection break so I re soldered it. Then another wire solder connection broke and again I re soldered it. Then one the main motor control wire lost continuity and I discovered it was broken inside of its insulation so I had to replace and re solder that whole wire. Poor construction and poor quality control. If I was fairly handy with he repair my kids would have been very upset. Also, it is a pain the keep pulling all 4 pins every time that you want to get to the battery.

I've been into R/C cars since I was a kid. For the price this truck is a Beast! Very durable and comes with a extra battery. It's just as fast as my Losi mini T and more than 50% cheaper. The only concern is availability on replacement or upgrade parts. When I bought this there was an extra 15% off promo as well! If your looking for something fun or a gift for your son, grandson or whoever BUY THIS TRUCK you won't be disappointed.

This is an awesome little car, my son absolutely loves it. It can go quite quick if the speed is on the high setting and it handles jumps really well.

Go and buy 1 right now. This is the toughest, fastest, best value & most inspiring RC car on the market today even after being on the market for over 3 years. You can change the tyres, buy new bodies, get all the spare parts you need & even replace the plastic spring shockers that are too soft on the front & too jumpy on the back with 1:16 oil shocks front & back to enhance performance VERY noticeably. If you're new to RC cars this is a terrific first buy. I hear you can use 3s Lipos for higher speed but risk motor damage too.

Not too fast for young kids so they can actually use it. Great value, 2 batteries, generally well built and can handle been knocked about. Unfortunately the rear motor and suspension pivot and breaks the wire connecting to the motor, broke twice in 2 days.
